I keep applying for jobs, though. It's harder when you don't have experience, but it you can't really get experience if you don't have a job.
Ah, don't be too worried. Your first interview will go well! :)

Ooh, hot chocolate and happy music, and hanging out with pets. Good choice.
What about egg nog? :o
Thanks. =]
That kind of annoys me, actually. 'You need experience.' 'Well, how do you think I'm going to get it if no one hires me!' Funny, but irritating cycle.
I don't think I've ever had egg nog. o.O

I've no guts.

And about food, I'd probably drown my sorrow in chocolate milk.
Maybe he just needs a little push in the right direction? ;D
Ah well, you'll find someone who isn't so oblivious.
I had no guts at first, but then I bought some.

Oooh, I wish I had chocolate milk right now.

Do you like pie? I hate baked fruit. Of course, that does not mean I do not like pie. I like pumpkin pie, mince meat pie, banana cream pie, lemon merangue pie...
Do my threads suck? No, but you sure make a lot of them.
Will you go out with me? ....
Aww, that's good. My cat ignores me. :C

Why not? Ice cream is delicious!
Mmm, lemon meringue pieeee.

I don't make a lot of threads! At least not compared to Trinity. ><

Is that a no? ;~;
Heheh. My cat loves me therefore he listens to me whine. I mean, I listen to HIM after all.

While ice cream is very delicious, I do not think I could stomach a whole tub.

And mmm, indeed. I love lemon meringue.... I had it a couple nights ago. xD

And yeah, like I said, I don't do internet dating.
Not even a little one? :o
Aww, you lucky duck. I had apple pie the other day, though.

Aww, darn. It was a joke anyway, I don't want to date you. :b

It's worse if you live in a small town. There's only a couple places that actually hire teenagers around here so all of us are competing for the same jobs. Naturally, the ones that have family connections or have had another job get it before any of the younger teenagers do. Luckily, I might be getting out of here soon.

Hm...I'll have to track some down then.

Aww, that sucks. A lot of places here and downtown are hiring right now. But won't hire me, hmm. -_-
A lot of students work at the grocery store. You could try that?

First time I ever experienced rejection was back in the 2nd or 3rd grade when I told my friend that I liked him. He gave me this horrified look and just ran away. God, I wanted to run away as well, but I didn't want to lose him as a friend, so put on a fake smile, chased after him laughing, and told him I was just joking and teased him for being such a chicken. We stayed friends all through elementary school and middle school. Just friends.

That's weird that they won't hire you. Have they told you why?

That's pretty much all there is here, two grocery stores. Food Lion and Halls. The thing is, all of the students work at one place or the other. Not to mention a lot of the older people that have been working there for years. They just don't need any more people working for them. One of my friends actually got hired at Halls. She worked two weekends out of the month for the couple of months she worked there. That's really not enough money to support anyone. xD The two towns closest to me are pretty much the same. There is a city an hour away, but that would kill my car if I had to drive back and forth every day.

Hopefully. My aunt said that I could come up to her place and stay for a while until I could get a job and get on my feet. They're in the middle of a city so I should be able to find a good paying job a lot easier. There are a lot more opportunities so I'm hoping.

Ever since I started working at American Eagle, every time I have to be a greeter guys always come in and hit on me (I am NOT trying to sound egotistical, they really do!). It's to the point where sometimes my managers have to send me to the back room until the guys go away because they keep me from doing my job. I've had to turn down countless guys for dates and stuff because 1. I have a boyfriend 2. I'm usually not old enough to date them (I'm 17)

Once, I even had to pretend I was engaged because this guy was being so.. I want to say aggressive. He was like, determined to get a date with me or AT LEAST get my phone number, and I told him I didn't think my fiance would appreciate if I gave him my number.

Mhm. I've been rejected before.
I asked a guy out once. But really, it was rather silly of me. I knew we were like, polar opposites, and we wouldn't get along well. We got along fine when just joking around in class, but I knew we were totally different on a deeper level. Plus, he's two years older than me.
But he was very nice about rejecting me. I was really embarrassed, but he just acted like it never happened, which was great of him. the next time I saw him, he just talked to me like nothing happened. Though I was quite shy around him for a while. XD

But I can happily say that that's the only time I've been rejected. :)

I was, in a way, rejected just yesterday.

There's a guy (turns out that I like him, imagine that) in my Algebra class who, over the Fall Break, got a girlfriend. When he told me, I swear it was like my heart froze in its ribcage.

What did I do? I smiled and said, "I'm glad for you."

I'm trying to cope by walking a lot. Still, it hurts to know that a girl that likes him so much sits next to him in class, but he may never know. But I did kindasortamaybe hint that I like him, today... >.>

No, but I figured it was because I lack experience and because of my classes.

Is there a Starbucks or something? Ah, that's too bad about the distance.
I'd like to get a job close to home, since I don't have a car and I can't stay out too late.

Ah, okay. I'm sure you'll get a job there. Maybe even make a lot of money!
Good luck!

That's weird. I heard they had to give you a reason, but I can't remember where I heard it. o.O Oh, maybe it was only if they fired you...Horrible memory.

Nope, the closest Starbucks is the one in the city. There are a couple gas stations around here though. The one in town doesn't hire anyone, but there is one about 20 minutes away I could try. Only problem is that I heard you had to be 18 because no one younger could touch the cigarettes. So, because I'm 17, I wouldn't be able to give them to the customer, so I wouldn't be able to work. I don't know if that's true though. If I don't get to move, then I'm going to go find out for sure.

I sure hope so. Thanks a lot. =] Good luck on finding yourself a job too!
