Sounds pretty good. I work at a book store and only get 10 hours a week lately. They kept too much of the seasonal staff so everyone is affected. ><

My company does not want to pay anyone overtime, but yet we have to be open all mall hours.

I can get tricky for the manager when scheduling the week if some one goes on vacation because we only have four people for the store - one is a college student, and one has another job that is full-time. Only she and I have much flexibility for our schedules.

Ah, that doesn't seem like a very pleasant situation.
Our jobs are the of opposite spectrums, mine's over staffed and yours rather understaffed. xD

Well, we have the bare minimum we need and not a bit more.

At least we have the full number for a store.

For a bit last year there was only the manager and I at the store, so in order for one to have the day off then the other would work open til close - twelve and a half hours. #.#

I am glad that it didn't take too many weeks to find another person to work at the store.

We did go through a bunch of them, though, last year to find ones worthy enough to keep.

It's very dead in the day and evening. I know that because though I didn't work there last summer.. It is one of the stores I visit most.

I want to save to maybe get a Masters of Library Science so I can be a school librarian.

I also need to save for when I need a new car, too.
