Nope, it's the UK version of Axe :)
I was totally surprised that there was an April Fool's event in the first place!

Ah! Brittan or Australia were my other two guesses.

Lynx made me think of North America, though.

I'm good. ^.^

I applied to work in a candy store at the mall, and stopped in a tea store I had applied to on-line that was new at the mall, too.

You guys aren't the only ones hoping the economy picks up. I REALLY want to get a summer job.

And I know this sounds really negative, but I can see the US going into bankruptcy in my lifetime. That my friends is when you KNOW an economy is shit.
Is it just me or to politicians and CEOs fail to learn from history?

I heard on the news that Donald Trump might be thinking of running for president.

With all the nonsense we have in Washington DC, I'd vote for him.

I sure am not considering that social security will be there when I retire - and I'm already old enough to be your mom.

Yeah. I need an income, too, so that I can have retirement investments of my own.

Hell, with the way the US economy is I seriously think I'd have BETTER opportunities in another country. What's wrong with that picture? After all, isn't the USA supposed to be the "land of opportunity" or something like that?

Yes. It is supposed to be a land of opportunity, however, the government seems to just be running it into the ground with debt and taxes.

Technically the government already is bankrupt. They're $23 billion in debt and counting. Or maybe that was trillion. (They tell the public a lower number than it truly is).

I don't agree with him as president, but I do agree that with all the nonsense and politicians who are in it for the money (as they all are), I'd vote him in too. He's rich enough that he doesn't need it.

Most definitely social security is gonna be gone within the next decade or two. I still have 50-ish years to work, and I know for a fact that "ss" won't be around then.

Same here. I'd just move to another country, but I'm hesitant because no other country allows guns to be owned by citizens. (Yes, I am pro gun). There have been many cases where citizens have been allowed to carry concealed weapons and crime rate has gone down dramatically.

I'm pro gun too. After all, I've been on the air rifle team for my NJROTC unit. Though, if it meant having better chances at getting a better job I'd sacrifice my right to be able to own a gun. I'd LOVE to live in Germany or Spain or Japan or the UK...just anywhere but the US. Our economy is pathetic, and when the day comes that the nation has to declare bankruptcy officially, to the world, I don't wanna be in it.

The media complained mightily about the debt under George W. Bush, but they say next to nothing now about it when it is nearly ten times as high. (Yes. It is in the TRILLIONS with a "T" -- it looks like this when written : 23,000,000,000,000.)

I think I have heard someone say that the United States is the worst country in the world to live in - except for all the other ones. LOLs!
