Taking note of the suggestions I received last time I posted a photo, I went out looking for a photo to with a defined subject, and that evoked a specific feeling. In this case, I would call that feeling 'wonder.'

Wow. That is one amazing photograph. Wow. Good job.

My one suggestion would to not cut off the very bottom tip of the main leaf. I allways learned that even cutting off 1% of something can ruin the photograph. in your case, it wasn't ruined, but maybe it wouldn't even look better with the whole leaf in it. Who am I to know? I've never really worked with real color photography.. only black and white.

It's beautiful. Nature pictures have always caught my attentions. Especially ones like this.

Thanks, guys.

Alcohol: Yeah, I did notice that. I'm still getting used to my new DSLR, and one of the things that changed from my Digicam to the SLR is that the finder only covers 95% of the total photo area, so choosing an exact edge for my picture is somewhat of an inexact science as yet. With practice I'll learn where to set my boarders.

Gold: Thanks, I tend to like ordinary, everyday objects as the subjects of my photos, especially flowers, plants, and insects. They tend to hold still nicely for me to get pictures, and I don't need to go far out of my way to find something to photograph. Ideally, I want to be able to take a picture of almost anything and make it interesting, but my composition skills are not up to it yet.

Sexy: Thanks, I like nature photos too. :)

I like the angle for the light through them in this pic, it makes the difference between something looking cool and just looking wet. I didn't have too much choice of background, this particular leaf was laying on the sidewalk when I found it. I ended up lying on my stomach snapping away, and had a neighbor come out to see if I was okay. xD
