I toss him in randomly. Makes him stand out more. I don't use him often though cause it deters from their work in the lab.

Well you're definitely progressing on your quest a lot faster than I did! I think if I buckled down and committed to questing straight from the get-go I could have gotten them faster, but at the time I really didn't think getting the V-day items was possible. I focused on the crowns and Easter EIs instead since they were cheaper and more recent, and only now am I finally close to finishing my V-day set.

But, then again, I'm not questing for all the rares. Assuming I will have my Green Clover Hairpin and Pure Love Boa, at the end of the day I won't have a King's Crown, Vday Pendant, Pot of Gold, and Gold Deco Stockings. XP Never cared much for those items (I prefer the Queen's Crown to the King's, and the Pendant/Stockings are too common and ordinary-looking to buy them at their prices).

Although, I'm having second thoughts about questing for a Pot of Gold. It's such a cute item! xDD;; <3<3 Maybe once I finish the other two though, since I want those way more. XP Heck, I may even quest for all four items eventually, just for collection's sake. Who knows, right?

Is the Boa the last of the last? And then you'll have everything? =O <3<3

And yep, if I get the Boa that completes my set of all of the rares in circulation, with the exception of a few NPC items and the Captain's Hooch, which I figure I'll have more chances to earn on my own.

I've been lucky as well. :) I never got anything really valuable in the Quest Raffle (save for a male Welcome T-shirt), but I was pretty lucky with the GBA. A good chunk of my St. Patty and V-day items came from my friend, though. She got them by selling artwork but she's not active around here anymore so she donated them to me. <3

Yeah, I don't have a Bertie or most of Channah's items, but I'm patient. There's always more opportunities until they're retired.

Yeah, of course. Don't get me wrong, I think it's good for the exchange. But at the same time, some people become absolutely desperate to buy them despite reassurance that they'll still have more chances down the road.
