I am a complete mess with anything make-up related. XD

I don't use makeup because it's too high maintenance for me, and I prefer not to wake up an hour early just to do it. I have tried though, but only with friends' help. They tried putting mascara on me but it took a while because I had trouble keeping my eyes closed. XD But even then, I'd always forget I have it on and rug my eyes and smear it by accident. It was during the spring and I have allergies, thus my eyes itch and I need to "scratch" them.

The only thing close to makeup that I use though is lip balm. It's shiny and easy to apply. XD

No I can't because makeup isn't my life. :o

I don't give about the types of colors and stuff. If it matches my skin tone then it's good.

I don't know how to put makeup on. XD I always feel like I'm probably the only girl in existance who doesn't. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis because I don't have time and don't feel the need to. I only wear it on special occasions, and then I have to get my mom to put it on for me because I'm terrible at it. D:

Makeup = bleh. I've always been a tomboy, and don't use makeup. I occasionally wear lipstick and mascara for special occasions, but that's it.
Makeup just takes way too long to put on and take off, and doesn't change the way you look anyway. Besides, any future husband is gonna have to deal with me without makeup at least 50% of the time anyway, so what's the point in spending the money?

The way I learned to do makeup properly is by watching other professionals do it. I look out for tips and different ways of applying it to get different effects.

I don't use makeup at all (my mom used to make me for special events) and I feel uncomfortable applying stuff so close to my eyes.

My friend made a rude comment today on asking me to do her nails -
'Don't Chinese people own nail salons?'
"No..."
'What, you're not Chinese? Are you japanese then?'
"I'm Chinese but I'm pretty sure you're wrong-
(Another friend,)'It's Vietnamese people, right?'

*sigh*

I don't even paint my own nails... They know that.
--
But I agree, a lot of people are Terrible at doing their own makeup... and it turns out horrible.
Some people look so different with make up on! And we make a great deal when one of my friends puts on makeup when they usually don't.

And some people look so horrible without it... those poor fools who marry for a woman's looks.

I'm not very good with make-ups. I don't even use any. I like to go Aux Natural... XD But yeah, since I'm 16 and should be allowed to wear them, I'd like to learn how to properly use all the colours and equipments. -_-;

The only reason I know how to apply makeup properly is from my mom. O=
I also learned how much you should or shouldn't wear, depending on stage lights. >_>;

Last year for homecoming my mom took me to the mall to get a dress and we stopped by the Clinique station in Dilliards and I got one of those professional makeup lessons and then they give you all the stuff you need to do it at home.

I really don't use much foundation because I have naturally clear, un-oily skin. I also don't really use mascara either because I have naturally dark eyelashes. For eyes I use a combination of white, light brown, and purple eyeshadow, and I finish it with some light brown eyeliner.

For lips I just use Burt's Bees chap stick, and a "dusty rose" color lipstick. And then I have a pale red blush.

And I can't believe I just typed three paragraphs about my makeup regime. XD

I can do my make-up myself but I don't much see the point of wearing it for anything other than special occassions or photoshoots and these days I have hair and make-up people to do it for me for a photoshoot. But yeah most of the time I just leave my face blank. I don't need it.

Holy hairy cavemen, those are really long eyelashes! Yikes.
My older sister taught me how to apply makeup, so I think I do apply it properly. When I do wear makeup, that is.

I know how to do eye make-up pretty well I guess. Not on other people though, because I never tried.
I know how to mix shades and blend and all that good stuff.

I don't wear make-up. My cheeks, and lips are naturally pink. Maybe someday I will, and my mom can teach me.

I can't. I never wear make-up. And even if it's for a special occasion, I only put on a little lip gloss and eye liner.

I don't wear makeup. I'll sometimes put it on for special occasions. I have no clue if I put the stuff on right or not though. Though I really don't care much for that stuff. I don't go out to party or anything so no real point.

I supposedly apply my makeup pretty well. I watch shows where they give away secrets and all that stuff... Personally though, even though I do know how to, I hate wasting the time to put it on. So normally I just put on foundation and some blush.. I don't really need much. My. They say you use make up to enhance beauty not hide it... I'm just too lazy to do too much of it. If I'm going on to an event I will apply eye shadow, lip gloss, eyeliner, and the like though.

I've always been kind of a tomboy, I didn't really start wearing makeup until the end of my Sophomore year, beginning of Junior year. >> I'm a senior now, and about all I wear is eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and a gloss. I like bright colors on my eyes and sparkly glosses, or neutral and shimmery colors. I look really good in neutrals, and aqua looks really pretty with my eyes. I have gotten pretty good at putting on eyeshadow and choosing shades that work well together to make my eyes stand out. :D

Define "properly."

I've mastered eyeliner and mascara. I know what eye shadow colors and brands look good on me. But that's it - I'm not one for foundation, blush, or anything that needs to be matched directly to my skintone. I wouldn't even know where to start.

But I'd never be able to wear that even if I wanted to. My skin is a little too sensitive to be covered up all day, and the few times I've experimented with foundation, I've had some bad break outs.

This Halloween is going to be the true test of my makeup abilities. I'm going to go all out as best I can, with fake eye lashes and dramatic color everywhere. We'll see just how well it turns out.
