I've heard of dollfies, but I never realized they could be so pretty and realistic. The ones I've seen were very dollish. I'm gathering those were the "cheapish" kind. lol : ) I've never really been into doll collecting, but the ones you have pictured are aweseome. I might have to look into the whole dollfie trend....

And as for them being expensive... That's a reason why many of us wouldn't bother getting any of them. Speaking of which, isn't Rozen Maiden about dollfies with spirits? (Lol someone had to bring that up if you ask me.)

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! Someone posted these on a different website a while ago and I was like SOOO in love with them and when I went to go find the post again I couldn't find it and I was so mad because these are absolutely adorable and I really, REALLY want one.

Rosen Maiden is a favorite manga of mine. ^.^

I never knew much about the official names for the differeent kinds and brands of porcelain dolls like "dollfies" and "pullips".

omg pullips are hella cute :O the mini''s are pretty reasonably priced. I'd give my daughter a few of those in leiu of barbies

I think they're about the cutest things i've ever seen, excluding fuzzy animals of course! I want one sooo bad, but just can't justify spending that much money, even on a cheaper one... my parents would definatley afford it, but they would never get me one. They would think it was perverted or weird :'/

actually yes we do have dollfies. Volks, the maker of dollfies has a US webpage. I just don't think they're very big here yet. thtey were/are supposed to have a doll party in L.A. apparently.

Really? I haven't read or seen anything about them until this thread. O.o They'd be interesting to see but I dun think I'd invest money into getting one...they still have that creepiness to me...like they're gonna move and bite me. XD...T^T

I've seen articles about them in the magazines I read and a couple times in forums. They are so beautiful!! ~I might get into buying them in the future... but right now I'm a year away from college - can't take them with me >.< And the money is quite pricey... though I think they're worth it.

The boy dolls are so handsome... why don't people like how they're lifelike? I actually like it with those 'dead eyes' All the more beautiful if you ask me.

Ball jointed dolls are prettier. They are more anatomically correct (>.<!) and more parts can move human like.

I've seen those before. I have a photobucket account somewhere full of pictures I found of dollfies. But I'm waaay too poor to buy one, and if I did, I'd feel bad cause those dolls are waaay too pretty to really play with. All one can do is look at them and brush their hair and what-not.

tehy are so handsome and when i went round with mine everyone was like calling him handsome and its kinda cool
half the time it feels like he is actually alive
and it makes ya feel like you have a little friend which you coudl call sad but i dont care
and yes i agree the dead look does make it look even more handsome

the one i really want is limited edition and woudl go for millions nowadays lol

because i would feel that its worth mroe money than me and i ould feel inferior to its beauty

i would do photo shoots between ducan and sha
because they are so hot
and it would look really sexy to have them like all over eachother lol how gross is that
