i started writing a story loll
and i need a guy name, and a name for a father

i'm contemplating whether or not I want it to be fantasy, or modern life, or maybe a little of both

Good luck! If you get stuck on names, you can go to websites that just list bunches of boys names, and look through them.

but it's going to be hard finding the father's name
because i need last name for that

i picked a name for my main character
when my friend and i listed a bunch of names during class
some were good, some were... weird, lol

but i figured it would be the main character's bff

and in my story the father just recently died
so his actual role is very small, but still important
I want it to be Dr. _______ (fill in blank with full name)

Okay . . . he's a doctor. But, what is his inner personality?

kind, loving father but not over protective
trusts his daughter, responsible, patient

actually not going to focus on him much

Hmm . . . The first name to come to mind is Josiah. Last name could be . . . Roberts.
