I do the same thing. If I win on that one gold bet, I bet 2 gold but I generally lose then XD I'm not a big gambeler so it doesn't really matter to me. But I agree with what just about everyone said, don't make such large bets.
And I'm sorry to say, but mene had nothing to do with your loss other than providing the game. You placed the bet, you took the chance, you lucked out. Get over your loss and move on. Post earn back the gold you lost plus more, and don't gamble it away anymore. Easy as that.
