I've only read the manga version of the movie. I don't think the movie started the trend on 'long hair woman' appearances of ghosts, but the story probably got so popular that it influenced the genre.

I wish you took the pic while it was kinda dark out. It seemed like you were too obvious in the day.

Edit-Speaking of scary movies, I watched cube zero last night. x333 It was insane.
(The sequel to the original 'Cube' movie. Its a must see.)

I love Japanese horror moives. What you don't see is scarier than what you do see which is true. I've seen Ju-On (The Grduge), I own the Ringu trilogy(sp?) Ringu1 Ringu 2 and Ring 0 and also sleeping Bride. I would like some more titles of Japanese movies to watch preferably with the Japanese given title and translation so I know what I'm looking for.
