Ok so I jusst moved to a new town in about july, and its a super small town.
In my old town, halloween didn't start until it started to get dark which was around like 6:30.
In this town, PEOPLE START AT 4!!!
That is soooo early the sun is still up and everything!
This town is so confusing but I love it still =)

Ha, I have no Halloween here 8D. Not with the trick or treat part anyway, there's no such tradition xP. Plus, I live in a big city, so it'd be kinda dangerous if the kids went out trick or treating through the streets... people still mask themselves though, and it's a day with many halloween parties all around xP, so it isn't completely uncomemorated xD...

The really little kids usually start coming around 6 o'clock with their parents. More and more kids seem to start coming as it gets later. Everyone is pretty much done by the time it's 9:30. I miss trick or treating, I'm tempted to go this year, even though a bet a lot of people will say I'l too old :(
The real question though is, when does Halloween start on Mene?! I'm really looking forward to the event.

Are there a lot of little kids in that town or something? o.O It's strange to start so early.
Around here, trick or treating starts when it gets dark, which is usually between 7:00 and 8:00. It ends between 10:00 and 11:00.

Haha, I haven't gone trick or treating for years... not since I was in elementary school.
The little kids usually start coming to my house pretty early, though. I've had people knocking on my door around four, when it wasn't even dark out yet.

Halloween usually starts here around 6:00 or 6:30 and last until like 9:00pm if your trick or treating and if you are at a party it lasts until the next usually.

Well my state/county is special for pumpkin smashing so it starts around 4pm for us too. That is only for the pumpking smashing and the fun. We don't ring peoples doorbells until 7pm or something. I cannot wait. I hope some people got the new candys! XD.

I'm not even sure what time Trick or Treating starts here. I live in the country, so I never have anyone come to my house for treats. And I haven't gone myself in too many years to count, although I do have children who used to go a few years ago. Even then the festivities were changing to less trick or treating - more parties. I don't live in a city though, just a small to medium sized town. It's a little sad when traditions are lost.

I don't know what time trick or treating starts I always thought people just start trick or treating at dark or when they feel like it. I don't go trick or treating and I haven't in years.

Usually parents with little kids like to get out early where I am from. I don't really know when they arrive though because I'm usually getting ready to go to a party or something xD But I know it is definitely before the sun goes down.

It starts around 5:30 with the younger kids, and ends at around 9:30. I remember I went out at the time last year with my friend and everyone is like "You girls are still out trick-or-treating?!" XD

Mostly little kids come around 5-6 then the older ones come later. This is the first year I am actually going to stay in. The last couple of years it was Wander around town dressed up,scare little kids and just hang. but I am dressing up as a gypsy and am Sitting out front. I've never done this before!! So I'm kinda nervouse(I have no idea why tho) But I just want the left over candy! We got Tootsie pops <3!!
But I love Halloween. And I miss not being able to go Trick-Or-Treatin. And I live in a small town, and no one has any halloween parties. and if they do, no one dresses up and they just spend the whole night drinking and being stupid, no dancing or whatever just sittin on the couch. D: oh well. Yes it is sad that slowly halloween is changing. I remember when I was little there where TONS of kids out, now my cousin who is about 12 is like "no trick-or-treating is dumb I'm staying home." I would have killed to go trick or treating. I miss it D: gawdarn lazy kids lol.

In my town, little kids will be out as early as 3, bigger kids normally around 5 or so.
My friends and I got about 3, and stay out until like 10, hitting up most of the town for candy, hehe.

Same here. Halloween starts around four pm.
The malls closes at five pm, so little kids
can go trick or treating there, because it's
safer and you don't really have to check the
candy. I mean, the store owners won't prison
the children. Or would they? ... xD

Hehe, since almost all the schools in Vancouvouver made Nov 1 a holiday, we could all stay out late!
I usually go at 6, come back at like 9.. or something.
But this year, I'm planning to stay out late with my friends.. like 10 or something. (:<

Trick or treating has always been like that in my area. Since it gets pitch black around 6:300 or 7 at night, it's easier for parents to take their kids out while the sun is going down. It's safer as well. Especially if the kids are going house to house by themselves, you don't want them wandering around an unlit neighborhood.
