EWWW Grapefruit Pudding! And...panties?! D:
You know the mystery candies wrapped in opaque orange and black wrappers? hate those! And when they give you spider rings and stuff...damnit I just want CANDY. :3 But caramel apples or popcorn balls would count in my view.
I haven't been trick or treating in 3 years, but we pass out candy. One parent got pissed at me when my friend (who was handing out candy) gave their kid (who was like, 7) some candy and a plastic eyeball toy. The PARENT got mad! I don't get it. :X

I don't trick or treat any longer, but I've never gotten anything that strange when I did. Holy smokes! Panties?! I would have called the cops too.
And the ones giving out eggs -- that's absolutely disgusting, you just know they did it just to ruin your Halloween.
Razor blades & bullet casings? I'm just glad I've always lived in small towns, I've always heard about things like this but never experienced it myself.
No, all I ever got was normal candy, popcorn balls. Just normal stuff.

I gave out bags of pretzels to those that didn't actually have a costume (I categorize the 'hippies' as a non-costume because all they do is wear their baggy jeans and a sweatshirt, not even trying). I don't think I should give out the same candy to those that don't do anything for the free candy that I give to those that actually make/buy costumes. The real costumes got the bag of pretzels and either Hershey's or Snickers candy.
I remember one house in my old neighborhood that gave me 4 pennies rather than candy...

For some reason, I can't stand sweet tarts. Pretzels, yay. dark chocolate, yay. tootsie rolls, yay. Sweet tarts? gahhh I freak out. I don't know, I just can't stand them...I think it might be because I don't like how they turn to powder in your mouth. Yes I think that's it. Cause I do like the taste, I eat the gummie and chewy sweet tarts, but it's that powdery stuff I can't stand.
As for GOOD candy, this one house ran out of candy, so they handed me and my two friends SODAS. xD I jumped for joy. One, because they actually gave something to us, even though we are seventeen (yeah, rejection hurts :[ ) and two, it was a whole can of soda, instead of just chocolate or gross sweet tarts.(ew) so yeah, I was excited. A dork, I know. xD It was my last year trick or treating though, since I told myself I was going to keep trick or treating while I was in school, so since I'm a senior, it's over now. :[ But I went to a few parties and did a haunted house too that night, so it was really really fun. xD I went to bed at 6:30 am.

My friend was giving out a dollar to everyone (rich family, and she is 6 years older than me, so I was only 8 or so at the time). She gave me a penny.
But then she came over and gave me a 5. I was so happy, lmao.

I took some little kiddies around with a friend yesterday, and they got play dough!
Like, brand new little play dough things.
I never got that when I was little. T.T
And as for bad candy, I hate the ones that are like hard/ chewy.
And I saw on the news that a parent found a staple in their child's Reese's. That is a horrid treat. ><

I've gotten pencils before, that pissed me off.
Along with Pepsi, popcorn, apples, animal crackers, bubbles, little toys, all those other things that aren't candy and really piss me off.
Once, some guy didn't have candy, so he invited us into his house and gave us all free cookies... O_o''
We probably shouldn't have gone in, but turns out he was a nice person and not a rapist. XD
And.. the only other strange thing I've gotten is socks.
O_O
Of course, the socks were new and we knew the lady who gave them to us, so we wore the socks. Heh.

Someone was passing out pretzels, and before that some other house gave away play-doh. >_< But I also got this HUGE bag of M&Ms and I was happy again.
Smarties? Yay. M&Ms? Yay. Woppers? Yay. Pretzels...
I went trick or treating with my friends and we went to a haunted house and I just knew something was gonna jump out at us and it did, and I was going to scream but then my friends screamed and I could choke back my scream and high-five the skeleton dude.

I haven't trick or treated recently *is 22* but when I used to, I always ended up eating the chocolate first, then the hard candies leftover would sit around the house until next year.
Things I hated the most were: tootsie rolls, smarties, sprees, gummy stuff, those gums that you practically break your teeth on. And I'm not sure if they make them anymore, but I HATED these chewy candies that came in black and orange wrappers. They were chocolate and peanut butter flavored. Makes me want to hurl just thinking about them.

Someone who has a lot of it and doesn't like it. That would be my guess.
With the chips and soda, I heard people do that when they reun out of candy or forgot to buy some in the first place.
Australia, don't celebrate and don't go trick-or-treating (much to my horror as a child).

How sucky is that?!?! Not only did I miss two chances to trick-or-treat, but I didn't even get Halloween to myself!
Whoever thought to put it on Halloween night has a sick sense of humor. x'[

I like your teacher's mentality. When I become a professor, I won't have tests or homework on Halloween, cause if I'm not planning on doing anything but enjoy the holiday I don't think I should force my students to do so. Mine gave us an exam the day after, I think that's worse than actually having it on Halloween cause it means I had to study.
