Haha -- probably the change in temperatures in general [/Global Warming], it's messing everything thing up and making all temperatures go out of whack~

You mean global freezing?
Whatever scientist decided to call it 'warming' is full of it.

No, it's Global Warming. The temperatures are staying hotter longer, destroying ecosystems and hibernation patterns etc. Therefore, when the cold finally does come around, it's a lot worse than it should be and it's affecting places that shouldn't be getting cold, destroying more ecosystems. Not to mention it's causing those animals that go into hibernation to be awake most of the winter as they continue to search for food. They don't realize that they're doing it, but they're starting to store food later and later, and so they don't have enough when the snow comes -- so they either sleep while they have food wake up to go searching for food, or they hibernate later so they can GET food. It all begins with the ozone depleting and causing our global temperatures to continue to rise. It's melting the arctics and that's also raising sea level and it's creating a lot of havoc in itself. Haven't you ever wondered why we're having so many hurricanes?
It's because the sea is changing from it's normalcy, and so are the weather patterns and temperatures. It all leads back to Global Warming.

I like the idea personally -- I've been saying they need to do that for awhile haha
It's nice because now we don't have to worry about getting banned for accidentally selling stuff -- and now, those who have items they don't anymore, are free to put the items back into circulation!
I think it's a bit annoying they can sell for a profit, but what can you do? At least people will have a shot at the items now :)

I really liked the idea as well. Jelly put it best in the announcement, saying that it served its purpose getting the items to users but now it's probably best they circulate, since the GBA didn't fix that part. ^^
I however, see no problem selling them as profit. Most of the items that sold for a lot of gold were the expensive items to begin with. For instance, I won my O. Fan in the GBA. I paid OVER MPG when I won it as well, so I truly feel as if I bought it, not just won in an auction, y'know? Seeing as the fan is the only items I'm &$#(*@WFHJKS over, I doubt I'll ever sell it anyways. xD I can see that with others as well, who won items they truly love. If they did, they probably bid out quite a bit of gold to make sure they secured their win in the item. So, I don't really see much of a problem in it, unless someone won it for 25g, BUT, obviously nobody wanted the item then, and it was an auction, so fairs fair. c:

Oh yeah -- I agree -- But I'm pretty sure some of the larger items -- like the Crowns and such -- were sold for anywhere from 7-30k -- so those are going to rake in large profits :3
I still think it's a really good idea though :3
Just sad that the auctions aren't here anymore :(

Yeah, I know what you mean, but that still was a nice chunk of money to be put out for an item and it helped a LOT of people, which was the point, yeah?
Now if they don't want that item any longer, they can sell it. It now benefits them and another user who wants that item but couldn't find a seller previously. :'3
I know it'll help me, as I can now make my slippers a set, since I won my pandas in the auction, as well at my Atlantis Mask, so I may go on the hunt for a phoenix one to make it a set. :'3

Oh I'm not saying it's not beneficial to both -- just a bit frustrating to pay 7-30k for a 100k item, and earn anywhere from 70-90k profit, ya know?
I mean, it's good for the seller, but not so much for the buyer 'cause they're not getting a break when the buyer did, ya know?
I think it should sort of balance out so that the buyers get a small break as well :3

I'm going to miss the GBAs however I think it's good that the items can now be sold.
And I can now have full sets of what I bought there.
Been wanting Dove headwings and raven anklewings for a while now.

Well, that's only if people who got them in the GBA are selling them -- there's really no guarantee you'll get them just because you can now sell GBA items ^_^;;

I didn't get the announcement, but thank you for the clarification Emma. I am currently trying to save up for a ankelwing set and Raven headwings so I understand about getting the old items and I really want to get a crown too. I don't really want to save for the set as that would be like 200k. Just with a lot of the new items coming out I might be able to get both. Like the Halloween sticks and the cookie, also the Where's the Catnip. I might be able to make a very good trade offer for it.

I don't really see how that's a problem though.. /: It's still benefiting both, nothing is wrong with making the profit from it.
It's just like earning the item when you joined. They hoard the item up and then sell it for tons of profit when they only paid 100g from it. Plus, it's not like anyone will know what they're buying, they won't know the person bought it in an auction, only the seller would.
It'd be completely up to the seller however, if they wanted to cut a break to the buyer, but I doubt that would happen. If they did, I could see it being a problem, and others who had said rare item might not want to sell. :'3 I see nothing wrong with the buy low sell high idea though, it's used everywhere.

Ehh - I can see where you're coming from, I guess~
I just don't agree with it XD;
Then again, that could be why I'm not much of an exchanger and I don't play the exchange much :P
I mean, I definitely understand where you're coming from, I just think it's a greedy tactic and it's a bit wrong, is all xD;
---
Yue -- you have to check the front page to see announcements :3
There aren't any notifications for them ;)
I'm afraid I don't understand the latter part of your post, however -- especially about newer items xD;
Also, the candy sticks/cat nip/booger cookie won't be much of an offer on the crowns, if that's what you're saying~
You'd have to have a hell of a lot of pure in order to pull that offer off :3
If you didn't mean you wanted to use those items for an offer on the crowns, then I'm definitely totally lost hahaha

Emma those items at current are about 30k worth, maybe a little more and the Catnip is really rare so it will jump up in value like the cookies did. I just don't have much more to offer and I agree that if a person got it for a big discount that they should offer one to the buyer, but it doesnt mean that they will.
