Cami ~ I'm studying for my Biology Midterm as well as Economics. You?

Applying for jobs as usual, though I got distracted for four hours today by reading a book I wrote some five years ago. XD Except that I never finished it. I decided that the writing was horrible and I need to start over.

Now, to be fair, the writing's really not that good, but I didn't remember most of what I wrote and I was actually enjoying the plot and the dynamics between characters, so I was really annoyed when I reached the point were I stopped writing. I was like, "That's it? What happens next?!"

And the sad thing is, I don't remember what was supposed to happen next. <<,, I vaguely recall how I planned to end it, but not how I planned to reach that ending.

In other words, I have the first official pic for my webcomic:



This is Pink. Pink is, of course, not her real name, but it's her favorite color and she hates her real name, so she's chosen to go by Pink. She's a bit punkish, loud, fun. Doesn't really take anything seriously at first. But because of her particular ability, to create illusions that look, smell, taste and feel completely real, she's secretly recruited to help one of the olds. At first, she's happy enough to do this, but as time passes, she starts being uncertain as to whether or not she's helping the right side.

The picture isn't quite done. There's a couple of tiny things missing from the coloring (toenails, earring) and her bag will eventually be covered with pins and patches that haven't yet been designed.

I did the outline, Anthy did the color.

Holy Jeebers. Now I really, really wish I had an extra one of those. XD Why can't any of the items I do have extras of get that high? They're all less than 5K.

Cam Cam ~ That size does show only the parts that most guys and some girls notice on you. XD

I told Anthy he didn't need to shade, though he may if he feels like it. XD I'm just thinking in terms of the webcomic, that shading would take a lot of time, and I think it looks pretty good without the shading.

Cam Cam ~ I must agree, I rather find breastesess to be very nice to look at. Like pillows you carry with you everywhere.
My female friends get flustered, because i'm short enough to hug them and use thier boobs for cheek rests. xD

Cam's Art ~ Can I draw a red line over it? Because... there are some proprtion errors that are easier to show the fix than explain. >.>;

I caught onto that after I read a few other posts. XD

And here's my thoughts on the artage. All in all, a lovely job... very odd pose and I like that... but it's hard to fix. XD
Biggest gripe with your art... WE HAVE BRAINS IN THUM SKULLZ WOMAN!!! D:<
Make sure to remember to give the head a good sized skull... we need it.
Your figure should be a wee bit stretched out, but I tried to fit my lines to your placement ... so you could see better what I was fixing. Otherwise, I wouldn't have drawn the legs quite so bent about one another.
We has bones that can only move so far and muscles that will start to rip if we extend them too far in either direction.
I would mostly advise enlarging the skull and lengthening the torso while dropping her shoulders down to a more casual slope.... and widening the shoulders. [[I didn't lengthen her torso -swats self-]]

Oh and because her bag is being pulled on and is pressing on her right breast, it will either force the brest to push out to hte left or flatten a bit to the right. I choose to show it flattening to the right a wee bit.

Ooh. That's very helpful. Her head looks so big now, though. XD I always think I draw heads too big for the bodies.

I drew the back part a bit bigger, because lately i've been drawing chibis.
You can definately make the skull smaller than I drew it. I just did a quick sketch over. -nodnod-

But you definately need to make the back of her head larger... she has no room for her brain. Hehe.
Just try to remember that the skull kinda makes a circle that is flat towards the front and cups in the back at around the jawline to hook into the neck.

I know joints are probably my weakest part. Elbows, knees, wrists, ankles. I love how you have her arm.

It's sad. XD I feel like I'm good at art. I've never taken any classes, but I've worked for a long time on my technique. And yet I swear everyone else is better at it than me.
