Ookay. /makes up the scene, having never seen the movie. Made up scene involves a mad black woman, though whether she is crazy or angry is uncertain/

Angry. :yes: Definitely angry. It's a good movie. Though I swear if the comedy wasn't in there in bits and pieces I'd have cried my head off.

I've always felt that comedy makes sad parts even sadder.

It's not in that style though. The drama is real and not taken lightly with comedy. It's more like, "here's a funny bit - time pass - drama" and then repeat. xD

Mm. I'm not sure how that's not that style, nor what style you're referring to. I just mean that if all you have is drama, then you grow numb to it and no longer feel so sad, but if you add in the comedy then the contrast makes the sad parts sadder.

Ahhh, I thought you meant you found it sad when humor is used alongside drama. (Meaning that you found it sad that drama couldn't be drama by itself and instead needed humorous padding to get the viewer through it.)
