I personally much prefer crowns - fans just... take up the whole avatar. or something. XD

Honestly speaking, when I first saw the fans, I had no idea why they named it the Fan until I saw that the left pixel hand was holding onto a fan and that the big floofy thing was a huge fan.

Don't know if that made sense.

They are bulky though I'd have to admit but it's red and has a nice design to it so I can't really say no.

Not to mention it's an allusion to the story 'Journey to the West's character Princess Tessen.

I usually don't. I'm not too well versed with the Chinese dragon type to begin with---or dragons in general so I tend to just skip it.

I will once I become well versed though. So I keep practicing using my avatars that have the dragon on it.

I think you can some up with a swirl thing using the circles anyway.

If I'm not wrong, you can using the transform tool if you're creative enough. I remember making some for a layout I did for a webpage.

I'm happy with my pen tool.
Anything else is too advanced for my knowledge.
