Take the weekend as a breather to recharge yourself. A date night sounds good. Cole works clinical shifts tomorrow and Saturday, so we don't get much time. Sunday afternoon is pretty much it.

The apartment owner was willing to lower the apartment we weren't wowed about by about $100. I told them our firm sticking price, not rudely of course, but stated we'd be around if they change their minds. They aren't going to fill it unless a professional finds it. That could indeed happen, but it's unlikely where we live so rural.

Who knows? They may end up changing their tune once they realize no one is going to pay that asking price. If they're just refurbishing them, it may take some time before they do come down in price. They'll need someone to fill the spaces though, otherwise it's a lost investment.

That's why I'm mildly hopeful. I did see they relisted their ad on Craigslist, so it means not enough came from the first posting.

It's interesting given the fact that they seem to be catering to a more upscale market that they'd list on craigslist. I wouldn't count it out, as I think they get to advertise free just like if I were to sell something...But it just doesn't seem like you would tap into the market they're hoping to.

I think they are going to have to come down in price. That sounds way too steep. I would imagine that an apartment would have to be similar in cost as one around here. We don't live in a big town either. Saying that, though, there are some really expensive apartments in town that somehow they seem to be still in business.

I really really hope they lower it. The apartment isn't what we would like, but it can make due. It's getting harder to juggle my work and internship responsibilities together. The paperwork component alone at my internship really has me needing another handful of hours just for administrative time. Bah. It's my hope by mid-March they'll get in touch... They responded multiple times with offers, saying how much they liked us. Hopefully it means something if and when they lower it.

How was your day? I got home about an hour ago, but had to get dinner going. Cole is napping as he has a 7pm-7:30am clinical shift tonight.

It was alright. I woke up at 5 am and spent the morning with Aaron, which was nice since I don't typically get up until later. I felt exhausted a couple hours later and went back to bed though. Got up and folded some laundry, then got a shower and put some makeup on as we had to run some errands. One was to H + R to fill out a damaged spouse form to try to recoup some of the money they took from our return, since we need it to pay them off.

We also went to the store and bought some treats for dinner tonight as we're going to spend tonight in having a little date of our own. PF Chang's meals for two were on sale so we picked up one of those and an appetizer. Sounds super yummy!

Yah it was super yummy. We spent today just kinda being lazy around the house. We're at friend's right now, but Aaron is busy playing his guitar game with his friend and I'm just hanging out in the kitchen surfing on the internet with his friend's wife. She isn't super talkative today, and since I don't really have the Avon I'm selling anymore we don't have much to really talk about. I'm just hanging out, letting Aaron enjoy his time though. He wouldn't of gone out without me.

We've both been feeling under the weather. I feel okay right now, but should go to bed as it's my turn to get up with Terra in the morning. Not sure what I'll do tomorrow. I may cook some meals up ahead as it's going to be a busy week, or I may just read for class. Not looking forward to the grind again. I had a week off from class, and I gotta say, those two nights of not having to pull a near 12 hour day have been nice.

Ewww! Hope you and Kin start feeling better. I know it's difficult just rolling out of bed to do the normal grind, let alone take care of a small child.

I just finished my shift today and it feels SUPER AWESOME to be off work early, especially on a Sunday. I could get use to this.

I didn't cook anything up ahead. Phooey on that. I did pick up the living room and get the dishes caught up on though! As soon as the dishwasher finishes I'll be making spaghetti.

Yeah, and I was suppose to cook dinner tonight but I feel pretty damn tired. Not surprised since we didn't go to bed until like 3am, and then I was up at like 6am. I did sleep an extra hour before work, but now I'm starting to feel pretty burned.

I'm glad I only did about a half day today.

Yah sounds like it, but so far no good...

Hoping to crash soon. Just heating up some ramen noodles so I don't go to bed hungry.

Despite only have a couple hours sleep again last night, and waking up with a horrible headache...I'm ok. Not feeling 100%, but I can hack it. Poor Aaron, though, isn't dealing so well today. I'm hoping he picks himself back up. No need to be dragging. Situation's aren't perfect, but the day still goes on...and eventually we'll either sort out the mess we have or learn to live with it.

I actually was in a reallly good mood, all things considered! Tired and run down, yes, but felt really good emotionally. The sun and warmth did a lot to pick me up though. A winter weather advisory is for tomorrow afternoon....:( Hurry spring!!!
