@Cami
I'm done. ^-^

Now I just need to submit it. I was half a page over, but the directions said no points would be deducted.

Yay. That only took several hours. >>; Hopefully I get a decent grade.

For your productiveness, I command you to eat and run around in circles.

@Tenshi
^-^
I need to make dinner in a bit. Should I do BLTs or cucumber, avocado and sprout sandwiches? Orrr, should I do hummus, pesto and turkey wraps? With lettuce?

XD In the drawn version of that picture, there's going to be sounds coming from the ceiling, due to her upstairs neighbors.

Chi: I don't think teachers are usually upset if you're a bit over. XD

And I totally read hummus as humans, so I thought you were a carnivore.

....BLTs sound incredibly good.. so.. that must be what you are destined to consume. XD ...Dang I really want one now. Or five. *can eat BLTs all day*

Not a big BLT person myself. XD

Mm. What do I want for supper?

And why is it that every thread I go to is talking about food?

Now, while I WANTED BLTs, that would have required much more effort than the turkey wraps. *munches that instead* XD

My blood sugar had crashed without me knowing. I'd tried to formulate a simple sentence of, "Can you get me a plate so I can cut the wrap?" or something like that and it turned out more to be "Can get me you... I mean, can plate cu... I mean"

xD

I gave the other half of my wrap to Cole since it was "OMGhuge".

I've noticed the kitchen area is so much colder than any other area in the apartment. And yet, heating the kitchen to a "good" temperature results in the rest of the place being unbearable. Go figure.

*is in the kitchen now, fancy that* XD

You could leave the oven on. :3nod: That would take care of everything.

The windows in this apartment are very poorly sealed. The kitchen is colder because the outside door is right there and also poorly sealed.

We could winterize the windows, but it'd get staggeringly stagnant in here in the middle of the winter if we couldn't open the windows. :(

While in theory that sounds good, the oven is run by the electricity we pay for.

Speaking of, this month's bill was $130-ish. It was under $140, I know that much, and I was expecting much more due to the size of this place.

It was also a thirty-six day billing cycle. I imagine if we keep a close watch of our computer usage like we have been (i.e. not leaving it on overnight anymore), it'll be cheaper.

Eventually we'll both be on laptops, so yay. They suck up less juice anyway.

I see.. that really sucks. It's too bad the place leaks so much. Our power is like... 26 this month. Do you leave all your lights on or something? o_O''

Our electric is high partly because of a power monopoly, partly because of showers, partly because this apartment has two hot water heaters that MUST be left running (one runs one my bathroom and the kitchen, the other runs Chi's bathroom) and partly because we run the dishwasher at least once a day >>;;

Our electric was only about 60, but you know what's going on with our heat. x.x

At least we have heat now. I'm so much happier now that I'm warm.

@Cami
That reminds me of the time we came home from Christmas to find out that the neighbors had turned the heat off in the building before they left FOR A WEEK.

December. In Wisconsin. No heat. :(

It is nice to have a dishwasher now. x.x

Though it makes me have little to no understanding as to why dishes sit in the sink. <<,, It's really about the same amount of effort to put dishes in the dishwasher as to put them in the sink.

I'd have died. And seeing as you're still running around in shorts, I'm inclined to believe it was COLD if you're saying that. XD
