Wow, how did three pages pass while I was gone?

An ant crawled up my leg and gave me a heart attack (in my room). It was just one ant and I haven't seen any more, but still. <<,, That's not okay.

@Alexi
It'll hopefully encourage people to begin reporting all prices, low and high. So yep, I did. If people read the posts leading up to it then they know what went on. :) Hopefully people use the thing more so that we can see more of what's being bought and sold.

Have good eats!

@Cami
Are you worried there might be an infestation?

Alexi: She paid that much because she wanted to pay that much. It's just as valid as any other price. If we only report things that exactly match the price guide, then no one will know how much these items are actually worth.

Chi: I doubt there is, but I do not want bugs in my room. I need to clean up and makes ure there are no crumbs or anything that might attract them.

P.S. Can you post in my thread? It's way down at the bottom.

You did say your room was getting to be unlivable. Maybe the ant was a sign. >>;

And yep, I can. I'll do that before going to run my errands.

My errands are done, but I need to look over the mail. I got something from the insurance company, but now I need to decipher it and see if I get reimbursed for that error. (Edit: I don't. I'm never going to the doctor again.)

I should clean up in here a bit, too. I brought in a garbage bag from the kitchen when I got home. :XD

I also heard back from the man whose scholarship I won. He apologized for the delay, since I wrote him a thank you in May. I'll probably write another letter. I guess he's up visiting in the area. :3

Cool. ^-^ It's nice that he wrote back.

I just got back from the bank. I needed to get some quarters. I think they must have a new policy of keeping the bank managers out in the open and greeting/helping customers. I was accosted by one again today. He asked why I was there, I told him to get quarters, he asked if I was with the bank, I said yes, he guided me to the line which I was already trying to get to and told me that I could get quarters there (no duh).

Maybe I'm not enough of a people person, but I don't like this policy.

Sounds like some of the idiotic things they want us to do at work, Cami. I typically don't go into detail unless the customer really wants to know and I don't typically up-sell registering credit cards to a person's accounts, especially if it's a phone used by a minor. (I've had many a call from parents who's kids have topped up repeatedly without their consent!) Poor guy is probably just doing it, trying to hold onto his job...

@Cami
I agree with Izumi. It was probably protocol put in place to keep his job. :gonk: Or maybe he just failed at trying to make one feel welcomed.

@Rhythm
I'll take note of your offer. Thanks! :3 I have a lot of extra Anklewing sets right now though.

The thing that gets me though, Cami, is who the hell comes up with this protocol? I don't like it either. If I need help, I'll come find someone. Just make workers visible...duh. Nothing is more frustrating then running around Walmart looking for an employee at 10 at night. :P

I know what you mean. x.x I've worked at two different Barnes and Nobles. One of them, we might ask if the customer needed help, or make some suggestions if the customer looked open, but in general we let the customer come to us. At the other, we got in trouble if there was a customer in our section and we weren't talking to them, even if we already asked if they wanted help and said no.

What was worse is at the first we were assigned very specific sections and were expected to know the material in that section so that we actually could give the customer very specific help, but in the second we were rotated throughout the store. There is no way you can know every book in the store, nor really help out a customer if you don't know the books.

I know it's an extra Panda. :XD I took that into consideration. Value-wise your other offer is better (plus it's a set).

Windy: Hiiiii! How's it going?

You know I saw that post you made Windy. It's a shame my hubby is busy right now. He use to tutor in maths and sciences at the local college. He brags about being really good at math. I wonder if he could help at all?

@Windy
Aww... I sorry. :( I'd help if I could. How long is the class for?

@Rhythm
It equals out, but I like the Dec + pure better than the anklewing one. :XD Would you like me to replace that as your offer?
