I had braces in grade school, then had to get them on my bottom teeth again in high school because they weren't staying straight.

My first day of class won't even be class. I'll be going straight to my internship. I kinda have the jitters. :XD

Things are still kinda tense but eh.
Ooh interesting. o_o What internship are you going into?
@Cami - Ew that sucks. D: If I make my kids get braces, it'll be after awhile once the teeth set in, not when they're that young. Did they charge you twice for them?

What happened? Or is it nothing you wanna say on a public forum? Ish cool either way.
Mmm, I'm going to a place called Pine Tree Legal. It's non-profit, and it's geared toward helping disabled (physical and mental) individuals get the legal resources they need.
He's doing my background check now so that I can deal with client confidentiality. Eee.

Nah I just said enough of it in my shop, no worries haha. Just some issues that have been going on for years.
Hm that's such a neat thing for you to be a part of, I hope you enjoy it. ^^ Will look good on a resume for sure and it'll be good job experience.
Wait, he's still doing a background check? o_O Shouldn't that be done already since you're going right into the internship? o_o
And I'm sure you can keep confidentiality. ^^ Only the worst gossips can't, in my opinion.

Ohhh Chi that sounds like a job I would enjoy. I like helping people make the most of life, given the deck they're dealt with. It's true that whenever a door closes, a window opens. :)

Mmm, I applied and got accepted for the internship during the spring semester (because our paperwork needed to be done in May), so he didn't want to do the BG check until it was closer to the start date. :squee:
But, I've done nothing wrong, so... XD;;

@Cami - That's nice of him to do. *nod* I'm sure there's at least a half-dozen others that wouldn't do it. o_o
@Chi - haha I could just imagine the hilarity of Chi having an extensive criminal record. XD Would be so unexpected. o_o
But yeah that makes sense that he didn't do it then. ^^ Something could come up during the time in between. haha

Okay. Going to work today was a bad idea. :XD I have been up and down and up and down and left and right and running all over creation and back.
To top it off, I put some Biofreeze gel on my back since it's still out of alignment and I accidentally got some into that open scar. I'm on fiiiiire! D:
Is the day over yet? I'm melting from excessive heat.

Nope. Mom's arm deep in shellfish (and has been since 9am). :XD My aunt isn't good with the phone.
That, and I'd like to at least bring home $200 this week. We need a new bed. *smites money*

I hope you feel better soon though and let you know that although I'm not going to work, I'm still busting butt around here trying to clean and cook for the goof troop. Being a full time mom is some hard shit.

Indeed it is. Full-time mums don't get nearly enough credit...
I remember when I took care of my infant nephew while I was still in high school. I ended up cutting class a lot. I think I missed 130+ days that school year. x_X
Edit to Cami:
YAY!! You're the best. :glomp:
Pretty art. :3
Edit to anyone:
MOM STOLE MY SPOON!! ;-; I gave her some of my fried rice when she ran down for a lunch break. Thief!

You know what I say a lot that isn't actually a word? Sensical. Nonsensical is a word, but not sensical.
... You use a spoon to eat fried rice?

I fail at chopsticks. :gonk:
I'd have used a fork but I usually spill since my rice is always loaded with veggies and stuff. With all the paperwork on the desk this morning it was better not to have grease spots everywhere. :XD
