Ohh hope you find a bargain Chi!! We sure did when we went mattress shopping. We got a REALLY NICE pillow top mattress for only $100 if I remember right. It was used, but I hit it with the steam vac then put a waterproof cover over it and I've not once thought about it since. I keep it well covered so it's not like I feel dirty or anything. We couldn't afford it if they were selling it new for the retail price...that's for sure. I'm certain it would easily have been $500 or more. :cry:

Well, we managed to get a new bed, box spring and recliner for under $1000. It's a lot of money, but we're both working now. Hubby just got a considerable pay raise at work, too, which helps. He'll have his dental bills paid off in no time.

This is the first time in a long time I haven't felt ill about a "big purchase". I'll have my half of it paid off within a week. =3

[email protected] peer pressure. 7 or 8 people and myself went to a bar after a dinner for graduation. They drank and tried to coax me into ordering alcohol. I still wound up with a ginger ale. The only thing they got away with was posing beer bottles on my bosom. >.o

Awesome find Chi! I'm hoping we'll be able to do some garage saling here soon as it's a really busy time in this city due to the festival. Hopefully we can pick up some of the house stuff we lack. I'm also looking forward to getting those windchimes I wanted so bad last year but wasn't allowed to get them as I had no place to put them. :XP

I'm exhausted. Tonight was one of those nights that I wish we could have been video taped. We pulled and tugged and tugged and pushed and backed up, trying all over again, in order to get the couch out the front door.

Then down the walkway.

And then we decided to rearrange the living room. Only we made a mistake and don't actually have the room to bring up all the extra seats we have in storage for company. We'll figure the rest out tomorrow. Right now I need bed. >>;;

Oddly, after pulling and tugging on that stupid thing and everything last night..? My back feels the best it's felt in several weeks. O_o;

Only dumb thing is, since I'm prone to klutz attacks, somewhere in the middle of trying to move the stupid couch, I smacked my face on the wood, and now I have a fat lip. lol.

Ohhh, haha, If it was me I'd have tripped and tumbled somewhere.

We ended up carrying it some of the way, then we pushed it (well, he pulled while I pushed), then we'd carry it some more. This was a little past 9 last night and it was LOUD going across the driveway, so we tried to carry it what we could. :XD

I just sorted my clothes, seeing which ones I had outgrown and what I needed. Took a few hours. Then my mom decided to play dress up with me. So now I'm in 3 inch heels and a Italian styled dress...
