There was descender[?] game, which when I joined wouldn't award you any gold because of some people hacking it; chance, which I always lost; and fishing, which dissappeared with the layout change juuust when I was starting to profit from it. And the thing with galy, I think that's why we don't have Carnivals anymore? Meh~ I also remember male avies weren't that manly xD and that sets were indeed 500g instead of 2k @[email protected] Yeeesh, I can't believe they inflated this much x__x *looks at gold count* Just... :no:

I honestly think it's easier to get 2k now than it ever was to get 500 back then. :)

Kah, I'm not sure I was here when Descender gave gold. I remember the game, but I think by the time I got here it was closed off from gold giving due to issues. XD It's sooo hard to remember my early days though!!

Defender was fun, and it was the only game worth playing for money.
It was also addicting. I wouldn't mind getting it back.

And I don't really lay about at all when I get a cold or anything, I keep on chugging.
But I had a meeting and didn't feel like waiting around or standing out in the rain, so I went home. But it wasn't an important meeting since we played the majority of our trip to London already.

I sort of stop functioning when I get a cold. If it's just my chest, I can deal. But if my ears itch and my nose ends up stuffed... I'm miserable. :XD

I get to go play with sick kids today! =D

Yep the appointment went alright Chi! We had to have our eyes dilated, and of course that really makes your vision blurred and you're more sensitive to light. We went through a bunch of tests and I found both my eyes went a step up worse (They do it in quarter readings, so apparently my eyes haven't changed much but they have given me a slightly different prescription. :O ) aaaand *drumroll* hubby's eyesight is good but he is near sighted and says that having glasses makes a difference, so now he's going to get a pair too. (This is after much "They're gonna tell me I don't need them and I have perfect vision" yadda yadda...)

Now I need to work on him going to the dentist. That's the next big step!

I picked out really cute purple frames and they have the transitional lenses. I'm so excited! This is my first pair with them. :D

My last glasses were purple. :3~ These ones are a dark dark green.

I talked my hubby into the dentist. He only has one appointment left next month.

I did absolutely nothing, and it was fantastic.

Well, I lie. I did absolutely nothing save for cooking a yummy stir-fry and unloading the dishwasher. I do need to pick up a bit in here as Kellen's coming early in the morning tomorrow. It's pretty bad in here right now. Dx

Ooh.. You know what I now want? Fried rice. I got free rice at this race today. XD Don't have the other ingredients, though.

Yesterday I put most of my roommate's dresser together. I like her a lot, but she's kind of useless. I mean, I've never put a dresser together before, but at least I could follow the instructions. She couldn't recognize the pieces from the pictures or put them together as illustrated. At one point, I showed her how to put on one side of a drawer, then went and put together four of the five drawers, and when I was done she was still trying to put on the second side of the drawer. <<,,

She told me (not related to this) that she has minor brain damage from when she was young and spasmed a lot (she's epileptic). Apparently she learned how to read when she was four, and then forgot a couple of years later and had to be completely retaught. I wonder if this is related; like if because of this she really is just incapable of making the connection between the images and what she needs to do in real life.

It makes sense that her brain damage would cause that. How debilitating.. x_x
