I haven't tried that brand, but I've heard of it. I'm not sure if that's one of the dairy-free cheeses with caseinate in it or not... *ponders*

Well I can tell Aaron is thinking of dieting right now...he's in the kitchen checking for ingredients for no bake cookies. He's just as bad as I am when it comes to the word 'diet'. :XD

Aaron is such a good cook, amongst other things. I feel so pampered as I don't have to even ask him to cook on his days off. I remember my dad having to be pushed a bit to do anything. I think since he's gone through the marriage counselling with his first marriage though he realizes how much those little extras mean. =3
He was telling me how bad he felt for not keeping up his half of the housework, and I just reminded him that A.) I don't put as many hours in at work and B.) He really spoils me when it comes to fun money. Now don't get me wrong -- he never 'surprises' me with anything, but at the same time he can usually be talked into agreeing to let me spend money on myself...more than he ever gets. Even so, I try to do the small things for him to make up for it - always make sure a warm meal is ready for him when he walks in from a day at work, and last time I went up to the store I went and spent $15 on just a couple of small things I knew he would really appreciate and enjoy and I think that meant a lot to him. :)

Casein is a milk protein, the one that I'm allergic to. It's not in the Vegan Gourmet cheese. xD
@Izumi
I like it when Cole cooks, but he doesn't have the time. xD; Beh.

Ohh I'm a sucker for breakfast in bed....:heart:
That stinks that Cole doesn't have the free time. Aaron doesn't have a lot, but since his scheduled days are 12 hours he does 2 days then gets two days off...so it kinda balances out nice. It's hard on him at times, depending on what department he's working in.

Jeez talk about being worked to the bone...! I think Aaron's works out so he's doing overtime one week and the next week is shorter? I dunno. He'd be best to tell you that. He works every other weekend though, which kinda sucks cause the only weekends he doesn't is when the kids are here...so it makes it difficult to get together with people who are blessed to have a 9-5 job. That's mainly why we've had such trouble trying to get a DnD group back together - one of Aaron's best friends has a 9-5 job while the rest of them work at Aaron's work. We may end up having to write him out of the RP as it's just too hard to try to work that in when the kids are here, not to mention I know Pam has been begging dad to let her play and I know her mom wouldn't be happy.

@Cami
I can't say. Does she know if it's a lactose or a casein allergy? I think the cheese she has right now is meant for people with lactose intolerance. When I ate a "dairy-free" cheese that had casein in it still (when I first found out about it and thus tried out new products), I immediately had an allergic reaction in my hands and throat. It was because the casein was overcompensated for the lack of everything else. >/ So there was even more in there than regular cheese.
@Izumi
Yeah, Cole's hours are unpredictable too. He works 6 days a week and most of the time from early morning 'till after dinner. The one day off he gets we usually want to bum around together, thus we rarely make plans. :/

I've just discovered something odd about me. As you know, I'm trying to get my facebook account back up and running. So, I found my old account that I can no longer get into and added all of the friends I had on there as friends on my new one. Most of these are people that I went to college with, and I keep noticing that most of them are still in Missouri and immediately feel sad for them, like what did they do wrong in their life that they didn't manage to get out of Missouri?
<<,, Which I suppose isn't exactly fair thinking.

There's no statistical proof of this, but the law of averages seems to say that there is a general correlation, particularly with the hometown thing. :)

Context, context, context, love. For every law of averages on this I'd like to see the law of averages of failure of those who run as far away as possible because they cannot deal with/dislike their hometown/home life.
