The only things I need to do are the chiropractic appointment and to go to the mail. :XD I'm looking forward to doing nothing else this weekend. Er, besides the homework.

Hehe. At least you get a break. That's a nice thing around this time of year. I'm happy to be tutoring, but man, I've got two students Monday, and one booked Wednesday through Thursday, Friday, the Monday after that, and possibly the Wednesday after that, all on top of work. o_0

Definitely a busy schedule. :XD I hope they pay you well.
If I can get my reflection paper done this weekend, I will be completely finished interning and done with the class component this Wednesday.
Everything else depends on my group. We're hoping to get it done next week so that we can all have a breather before presenting on the 17th.

Hopefully the group can keep it together. Because that would be a really nice break.
I charge $25 an hour for private tutoring, so it definitely is good pay. Just some craziness. Especially since I tutor econ and chemistry for my private girls and when I go to work, I keep getting pulled off testing to go tutor bio and micro bio. So it's all sorts of weird brain switches.

Pretty much. Was having trouble sleeping myself. Didn't help matters that the medication I took really makes me drowsy. I needed some down time though. I was sooo emotional after the whole thing today. Once we left, of course.

Well hubby is calling the bank to try to refinance his vehicle, in hopes that might free up extra cash. Also going to be filing to have child support reduced.
Not sure what else he has planned. I keep on hinting on the cable, but he's really against doing that. It's only background noise most of the time for me so I'm not going to miss it much.
I gave thought about canceling insurance but I don't think that'd be a wise thing to do.

Unless you could get the same policy right back, I'd not cancel it.. too dangerous. :/

Eesh. Yes, canceling insurance should definitely be a last resort. Why is he so against canceling the cable, anyway?

Well that and luck would probably not be on my side. I'd cancel it and the house would burn down to the ground and we'd have another bill to pay off for something else we couldn't use. I've thought about talking to the lady we bought the house from to see if we could refinance, but I feel kinda iffy about trying that and so soon. Once tax returns come back, provided we get at least a grand, we'll pay off a chunk of it and have them rework how much we pay on a monthly basis. I'm hoping it'll be something significant enough to make the payment back to the landlord less of a blow.
I think the main thing is just trying to juggle finances for now. Speaking of which, I'll eventually have to speak to my credit card company and work something out with them so they'll stop calling me. Hopefully I'll figure out a way to settle with them (it's a couple hundred...) and be done with it. Just need to see what we have to work from from taxes and left over grant money.
Hopefully we'll get something worked out.
Edit: Steel - I think it's because he considers it his one 'luxury', and he likes his sports center on ESPN in the mornings. Personally, I think TV has mainly mind rotting shows on it, especially when it comes to the crap they show on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel these days...I almost want cable cut just for that reason so the kids can't watch that garbage. Their mom somehow found a way to get satellite out where they live though, so they'll just watch it too. Found out she's been letting them watch crap on Comedy Central which I'm not too approving of, but hey what's new?

Bah. Men and their sports.
Comedy Central? The hell? That's *terrible* for kids! Geeze. Too bad she's their mother, so there isn't much you can do about that.

Yep. There's a lot of things she does that I disapprove of. Oh yes, and I got told off about talking about her at my parents house. I was telling aaron what pam had told me her mom was doing about her education. About how apparently she dropped out of school because they kept sending her junk computers and how she's going out and buying a brand new one and enrolling in next semester. She's also told both the kids she's building their own rooms onto the house they have there, and that Pam will get her own laptop for her room.

My thoughts exactly.
Anyways, my dad sat me down and gave me a stern lecture about how I'm to say nothing about there mother. Truth be told, I didn't say anything slanderous, only that she has grand ideas but I wouldn't get my hopes up until I saw it. Apparently I'm meant to let her kids think that she's this great person that's going to do all these great things when in reality I know she's talking a load of hogwash.
