I should also be productive, but in which way I've yet to decide. I already cleaned the kitchen up this morning, though the apartment is still a mess. We never did sweep or vacuum anything after that big cleaning before Christmas.

The tree is still up, too. :XD

I'll just take my laundry with me on Wednesday. I'll have a 7 hour break with nothing to do, so why not laundry?

I love clean laundry. Clean laundry is a definite win! Speaking of which, I have a load that needs folding. Well once I'm done farting around. :XD

I feel kinda silly - I walked all the way out to the mailbox, opened it up, and then took me a second to go 'oh yah public holiday' and walked back feeling stupid. :XD

I do definitely need to crack open that homework textbook tonight to do my last segment due tomorrow. Other than that I'm golden. Well for tonight anyhow. :)

Haha, yeah. XD I wanted to go to the mail earlier until I remembered. I have two pieces of graduate application stuff that need to go out ASAP. Sending it tomorrow will suffice though...

Mmm, Mom just called and the roads are crappy enough that she doesn't wanna bring him back down. She's feeding him lasagna. He's mine tomorrow though. And all Cole's on Wednesday. If I have class, the weather is going to be too bad for me to come back into town and get him from school. So one of our aunts will be able to get him to Cole instead.

Sometimes, having two vehicles would be a good thing. :XD

Edit: In the mean time having an argument on someone else's facebook on whether or not gays should have the right to marry. He says call it something else. I'm thinking they need to get rid of any religious pretense and call the whole thing a civil union or recognize both cases as marriage. It gives it a different stigmata otherwise, and really the whole separation of church and state thing should mean that there shouldn't be any religious 'connotation' in how things work. Call it what you will behind closed doors...

Yep yep. I'm wondering what would go for it vegetable wise though...since right now it's just chicken...and rice. Not that I think Aaron cares at this point. He looked so tired this afternoon. :( Hope he's gotten through work OK.

Kin baked chicken breasts, and I made a mac and "cheese" sauce. It's baking now. Hopefully the chicken doesn't dry out by the time the mac is done. Should also do a veg, but I dunno what kind.

I had kale yesterday, and it was delicious. D: I want to buy some to make myself. D's Dad said that all he did was put water, garlic, and salt in a frying pan, and put the kale in for just a tiny bit.

XD When I was texting Anthy what I had, I actually instinctively capitalized Cale, and that was on a phone where it's not easy to instinctively capitalize thing.

I love kale. It's a great veggie. I've made soups with it before too, which are even better.

Dinner turned out nicely. I'll be reusing that "cheese" recipe. Kin was a fan too, which makes it all the more worthwhile.

I don't have side items nearly often enough.

I always feel like my meal is incomplete without them. We just went with chicken and the macaroni and cheese tonight and something felt missing. It was a good meal, mind. But maybe a salad would have been good with it or something. :XD

True. Plus going solo on most meals is more difficult, too. Like if you make a mac and cheese as a side dish, it would make 10 servings. It would be too hard to eat before spoiling. Stuff like that.

As it was there's a ton leftover from the stuff I made, and two people ate that.

I'm usually a fan of leftover side-dishes, but I find it difficult to eat leftover main course stuff. Like, steak and turkey I have no issues with, but anything else... I prefer the sides on their own. It's so odd.

I'm glad I don't have to cook. xD Or worry about food spoiling. That is one nice thing about being back at school. >>;

We've done nothing but cook. I miss prepackaged unhealthy shit. :(
