Yes and I did call him a bone head...I think I might super glue it to his hand or something so he can't forget it. The funny thing is I was just bragging how I had cured him of that problem by assigning him a special box by the front door. It only works if he uses it though. *facepalm*

It shouldn't, as he handed me a wad of bills and paperwork he had stuffed in there to cause it to be full. I told him why the HELL did you not hand me the things one at a time or at least in a nice stack instead of doing crap like that. "But you do the filing and the bills....!"

Well when I first moved in he did, but I took over most of that since his method would be to check the mailbox maybe once or twice a week and deal with the bills that were in red. He'd throw everything else in a box and wait until it was overflowing before taking it out and 'filing' it in the special filing can.

I took over the filing system when we moved to our house now, and I generall take care of all the bills with the rare exception. He can't even handle those though. :XP

LOL - one of the first things that happened when I moved in was the power company sending someone down to collect payment or shut off our electricity. I felt a bit uneasy about his attitude when it came to bills and just the sheer fact THAT happened. Luckily, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He lets me get away with murder in other aspects. Like right now while he is off work I barely do anything around the house. Well other than pay bills. :XP

Haha, yeah, my mom has special bill juggling abilities that my dad can't fathom. His method is pay everything right away. But that doesn't work well when you have income coming in at all different times, and expenses you don't realize are coming up.


Edit: Hey, I just realized I have ZERO brown eggs. Either of you ladies want to trade me one for any other color? I've got almost even numbers of the rest. Except I think I have only one teal

I don't know if we've been late on anything before. Not excessively. There was the one year I wrote out the rent check, but kept the check in my checkbook, not torn off. :XD

I called the landlord and he didn't mind. I felt like such an idiot.

LOL. Well I think it was to blame on his coping mechanism. He went through a tough time on the divorce and his ex made sure to suck every penny out of him. We'd be living pretty good right now if it wasn't for $600 in child support each month. :/

I didn't catch your edit, Steel. Brown is one I'm stuck with few of. Are you looking for any others?

$600 in child support does indeed take a dent out of things. That's almost an extra rent payment.
