Yah that's kind of how it goes. I could sit and try to pin blame or I could do something about it. It did me a world of good to finally write off as best I could the mistakes of the past. Things were said and done that hurt my feelings but it wasn't that earthshaking. I mean I had a relatively easy childhood compared to some.

I really look up to my husband for coming out of such a shitty situation and STILL able to say wholeheartedly he loved his father despite his shortcomings. We're talking about a full blown drug addict, alcoholic and abusive husband who Aaron felt he had to protect his mother and went after him with a metal baseball bat. I don't think any child should have to witness anything like that. My parents had their spats, but they were never violent.

Yeah, that's more than enough for any child to have to go through.

Holy god. I'm at work right now and my grandmother's personal phone is ringing off the hook. It's general policy that if it says "unknown" or "private", I don't bother. This person has let it ring 20 times and it's still going, even as I type. D:<

I have one who will let the phone ring for absolute ages...it's like I don't have the money and I'll get to you when I'm damn well ready. :XP

It might have been one of the recorded "vote for blahblah" calls, too. The company is almost always paid up on bills on time. :XD

Yay I have Bao Bao paid off! And I have a few items I need to finish the Val 08 EIs and the Halloween 07 sets. Yay!

I need to hurry up and save up for the items in the easter shop afterwards. I'm tempted to try to save up for the NY pin and the cake hat. I have the gold/chocolate hat but I'm missing the other one. :o

I'm caught up on the important bills, just trying to drag out some of the non-important ones. I'm almost ALWAYS on time for utilities and such.

I'm not sure how on time we'll be once we're both schooling and without income. It completely depends on whether or not Cole gets into the assistance program for college tuition. We'll know in June. Summer is coming out of our own pockets regardless, or whatever aid he might get from his FAFSA.

We'll go with the flow. D:

Ouch. I know I'm getting funding for Summer, but Fall classes are still up in the air. I have to follow up with the Financial Aid office about filling out another petition...

I need to make sure I did everything I need to do to get the loans from my new university, too. I don't want any delays. @[email protected] I think I've crossed all my Ts, dotted all my Is... all that.

It won't hurt to have someone confirm that though. I did my Stafford Loan entrance counseling, and signed my MPNs, so...

Just so you know, Chi: I think that your desire to be a supportive parent and be better than you mother is a pretty good sign that you'll succeed. *hugs*

Chi we found a used dishwasher for $70 today in a garage sale! Used a little bit of that leftover money from our tax returns to get it. I'm excited!! :XD

This is Aaron's first time period...so yah we're excited.

Aaron just accidently punctured his finger with a nail though. I did my first aid and patched him up. :XP

After the first day of working on the dishwasher and I have all the old paneling out. I have figured out where to route incoming water, drain water, and power from (which was a battle all itself).
I should wrap it up and have a working dishwasher in the next 24-36 hours.

I know I'm excited! No more bitchiness over dishwashing. Yay!

Dishwashers do make life so much easier. I've never lived without one, so I hate to even ponder life without my dishwasher. *is spoiled*
Oh lordy. My ex just called. I suppose I should consider it a favor for him to remind me why I broke up with him. Oi. So very annoyed.

Hehe thank you! I'm loving the Easter items this year! It's inspiring me to catch up on the couple of Easter items I'm missing from last year. That is after I pay off my holds and buy the rest of the Easter crap in the shop atm. >_<; I'm just glad we can't get credit cards on Mene or I'd be in trouble...
