I'm only on for a moment, but I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the well wishes and love. The baby is a very good baby. I'm having a lot of difficulties with breastfeeding, but my hitches are normal. I'm not giving up, which is why I... don't really have time to do anything else. Hopefully once my milk supply increases I can work with a lactation consultant to get her preferring me again. We've had to supplement, and now she's too lazy to work for breast milk, so she gets it pumped instead.

I went into labor Tuesday night around 11:30 and she came out at 4:55am. It was very quick. Save for a relaxant I was able to do it naturally. When I give the birth story later on I'll go into the whys behind the relaxant. :XD Like I dreaded I had already gone through the first stage of labor without knowing, so we had to take a "tires on fire" ride to the hospital.

Anyway, I'll be back in time. All is well, and the baby is absolutely awesome.

I'm glad to hear that momma and baby are doing well. Breastfeeding can take some time and work for you and the baby. So I wish you luck in that.

Things are slowly getting better on the breastfeeding front. I only had to supplement one feeding through the night. She's had a really bad day today though, and we can't figure out if it's food related or she's just having a bad day. She's really only content when breastfeeding, which has left me no time to breathe. :s I should be sleeping while she's napping on her father, but I needed a small bit of "me time" to get caught up on e-mail and messages.

Hopefully in another week or so I'll be back around!

I hope she's not getting sick....babies get fussy when they get sick.
I was just showing my husband the baby pictures.
He says he's going to have nightmares about us having a kid now. XD

I'm wondering if she's getting too much or not enough breastmilk. It's a bit difficult to tell I'm told when you're doing it naturally, and I know my friend said she always wondered.

Hopefully the lactation specialist will be able to help you figure things out as I know you're pretty hellbent on doing it. So many good benefits so I can totally understand. :3
