in my opinion, metting someone online first without seeing what they look like is the best way to start a relationship. You should love someone for what they are, not what they look like.

my gf makes me feel like i've won the lottery. Shes one in a million. I hope to marry her someday. we've been together for 6 months now and still going strong.

I really have to disagree... although I see what you mean about falling in love with personalities first, I really don't think you can get the intimacy of a relationship in real life online. And, I don't know, physical attraction is pretty important to so many human beings -- what would you have done if you met your gf and she turned out to be a total ugmo?

I guess it's working out for you, but I could never do it. Especially the bit about physical attraction. It's pretty hard for me to sleep with someone I'm not attracted to at all ):

I love my boyfriend for who he is. He is very caring and kind, but protective too. I fell in love with my best friend and I mean that. I meant my boyfriend on Gaia at a bump thread. He seemed shy, but nice. We started talking and became friends and were friends for about a year before he asked me out. I fell in love with his personality, the thing to me that actually counts.
My boyfriend is cute though, but thats not what is important to me.

Do I think I'll get married to him. Thats a long ways off. I would love to get married to him, I know for sure he would take care of me, but the thing about that is, I'm not ready to settle down and neither is he and we respect that about each other. And we are also honest to each other about things like that.

There might be a possibility of us splitting up. But, who really wants to think about that when in a relationship? I'm happy with the now and I'll worry about the future when it catches up to me. When and if it does, I'll be happy to have the experience I had with my boyfriend, the good times and the bad.

It's funny, how we met over a private message on Gaia Online.
Just a random PM coming my way, and in no time, we got to know eachother like the back of our hands.
I will admit, it's hard to say for sure what will happen in the future, considering I met the person online.
Especially someone in a completely different time zone, for that matter.
I dunno, I guess I look at love differently than some people.
Sooo, we haven't met in real life.
It doesn't matter to me.
I love her for everything, even the smallest things.
Many people want that person right next to them, to be able to feel them.
