Winter is such a great season. Where I live, there's a lot of snow so in winter it's so much fun to be able to ski.

I live in the South, so unfortunately we really don't get snow. I wish we did have snow, so I could go sledding and build snowmen/women/persons and such. The weather is much cooler, though, and I love that. I can wear my Griffindor scarf! ^^ And I'm drinking half my weight in hot chocolate. (No, not literally, silly peoples)

Oh, and yes, the Walgreens that I work at is already putting out its Christmas stuff. I'm not happy. *pout*

Florida doesn't get snow, in fact I've never even seen it, but I don't think I would survive if it did. I start freezing when the temperature gets below 75, but I do love wearing cozy clothes and jackets. <3

Oi, I like fall and lot and wish it would stay that way for at least another month or so. T^T But nope, winter takes over as fast as it can. *sigh* It's nice sometimes and the snow can be pretty but it can be very dangerous as well. *if you have a crap car like me that is*
So far we haven't had any snow...but it'll get here before the month is over. ><; Winter is alright but I fancy fall and spring because it seems to be just the right temp. >w< Snow is awesome of course but ice hurts like hell. XD I tend to tunnel in snow and stay there like it's a hideout. XD I hate it when stores put up Christmas stuff already because it's way too early, it hasn't even been Thanksgiving yet! *sigh*

  Texas usually doesn't snow. If it gets cold enough to, the moisture turns to ice quickly. Last year it did snow for the first time in years...and I had the hardest time believing it. @[email protected] Had to request pictures to see for myself!

Well actully it has snowed like 2 days ago but it was only a little barely any you couldn't reallly even see it. It was like a tease.

I used to love snow. That was before I had to drive in it. I still love the snow after the streets are cleaned, It's all glistening white, looks like diamonds under the moon.

It has snowed before an hour and still everything is white and so beautiful! I hope it won't melt till morning. Fortunatelly, it's not too cold... And I'm a little bit surprised, because snow in November (particularly first half of it) isn't too frequent.
Though first snow this winter was about 4-5 days ago, but it melted really fast, almost before hit the ground.

Hmm... I like winter and don't like it, it depends. I prefer spring and autumn, temperatures aren't that extreme, I mean, not too cold and not too hot - just perfect. So in winter I hate when it's too cold (and when my parents think only about going skiing XD). However I absolutely love snow and winter atmosphere.

Winter is very bittersweet.
We really don't get any snow here,but when it does snow its a beautiful sight.
We tend to get a lot of hail and freezing rain.

But Winter greets Christmas,which is my favorite holiday like a lot of other people.
I love sitting in the house listening to the radio with christmas carols,drinking hot cocoa and adoring the beautiful decorations.

Snow is wonderful! The way it blankets everything! I wish it would snow now. It would be nice, I am not completely fond of Thanksgiving.

On the question of whether it's snowed yet, no. Not really. I've seen a light, light snow, kind of made the ground look dusty, but that was in the dead of night and as soon as the sun hit it it melted. I'm not surprised though. We haven't had a proper freeze yet. But the temperatures are staying near zero. I guess it will come soon, but not soon enough in my opinion.

On the subject of seasons, there was a year in the 19th century, called the year without a summer. I'd like one please. *holds hands out to recieve lack of summer* I guess it's not actually good to have winter all year round, since food production wouldn't be able to keep up with the population, but I would still love it. Until I everyone started starving. I kind of wish we could have the tropics in eternal summer, the regions near the equator, but off in eternal spring/fall, and anywhere I reside in eternal winter.

On the subject of Christmas, it's heavily over rated. Halloween with snow, festive trees and prezzies > (Christmas X 1,000)

I wish it would snow here! It's been record high temperatures where I live...I'm in Arizona, US, near the city of Phoenix. I'm in the desert, and so it's still in the 80 and 90 degree range. :( I miss having a real fall, and I almost can't believe we'll ever get winter here this year. xD

I love winter. I want it to come! I love wearing layers of clothing. Sweaters, pull-overs, my wool coat, long socks and pants, ear muffs...I just love it. There's nothing better than crisp, cold weather and then having a hot beverage to warm you up! Mmm, and hot soup... yep, I love cold weather. I think it's time I move out of the desert again. :lol:

As for my experience with snow, I lived in the mountains of California when I was younger, and we'd get snow some years, very deep, like 6 feet deep, and it was so much fun after we'd shovel it away and then sled down the drive way and such. I love it. :D

For us in SF, its one day sunny as hell, making me want to run around naked outside, and some other times I want to wear my winter coats in layers. It goes on and off really : )

I can't imagine living somewhere where it doesn't snow. D; Even though I hate the cold, it still makes me sad when we only have a few days of light snow in a year. I really hope we have a blizzard move through this year. xD

I like the holiday season, but I don't like the cold.

It's funny because even though it's only 65-70 degrees, people around school are wearing huge coats, scarves, gloves, mittens, those ugg boots... and they live in Los Angeles. xD

I was in California once when it was Christmasy time. I don't know, palm trees plus Christmas decorations just doesn't work in my book. xD
