i have around 6 cats and 3 dogs xD

i love having pets, practically since i was born there have always been animals around me, be it cats, dogs, rabbits, or chickens. i can't really say when its TOO much for me.

@ Eileanora: I know how you feel. I love having my animals and if I could, I would have more than what I do right now. xD

and i've been pondering whether or not to grab a rabbit recently as well xD only because there was a recent batch that need homes.

I have a not so common pet. A sun conure, her name is gizmo and she likes to crap all over the place and scream a lot, outside of that she's a nice pet. She's surprisingly smart for a small bird, but she does qualify as a parrot, so I suppose that's why.

Her favorite thing to do is play on my bed, and tear up tissues

Having "too many" pets was never a problem in our eyes. Our house has always been filled with many animals. We use to have a LOT more animals in the past years.

Doo-dad - My hamster. <3 She's black, chubby, and adorable.
Unnamed - One of Doo-dads babies! We haven't named this one yet.
Unnamed - Another of her babies that hasn't been named. xD
Unnamed - And another baby that hasn't been named!
Gidget - Her tiniest baby that was actually named already, by my boyfriend.
Buster - Our dog. He's a Pomerainian Poodle mix.
Charlie - The cat we just got. I'm not sure what he is, except for extremely curious.

I found it odd that Doo-dad is an all black hamster, and she had white babies with gray markings. <33 They're really cute though. The pet store owner tried to buy them back when it turned out we accidently got his breeding hamster sold to us, and he'd been trying to get white babies from her for a while. I wouldn't sell them though.

When I move out on my own, I think I might want to get a Puppy and a Southern Flying Squirrel. If not that, then just a kitten and a puppy that will get along.

neon666: Awww, I used to have a cockatiel, he was the sweetest bird! He used to sing to me and call me. I named him...Bird. I dunno, it just worked for him, haha. xD

As for me, I have one pet right now! A kitty named Jasmine, she's a short-haired Siamese/Himalayan, and is eh, probably about 12 or 13 years old now. xD She's my sweetheart, and I'm happy only having her around. It's nice to have one little furball to focus all my love and attention on. :]

My family used to have 2 dogs and a few cats, though, when I was growing up, and that was also fun, never a dull moment... it was just difficult to take care of so many pets when we'd go on vacation or something, because then we had to plan way more than we do now that we only have one cat, and I always worried more when we had so many pets, always worried a ton when one would wander off or something. It's easier to keep track of one pet. x]

I'd like to get a dog again someday, though... when I live in a house with a nice backyard and everything again. It's fun having a dog to walk and play fetch with and such. ^-^

Are wiener dogs generally well-mannered? Lots of little dogs tend to be grouchy or mean by nature.

I personally have three cats and then there's the family dog. My sister also has a finch, a corn snake, and a cat.

Charlotte - snake
Lance - sister's cat

I've just come to realize that the poor bird does not have a name. What a pitty.

My wiener dogs are very sweet. At least to me and my family. They are very protective though towards strangers and other dogs. Though I've seen other wiener dogs be super nice to people they don't know. One thing they happen to do a lot is..bark.>.<

I played most of the zelda games and love them.
In fact, I wanted a white ferret and wanted to call her zelda. Never got the ferret,sadly. >.>

He he he umm..lets see I have (this includes my other houses) three dogs, four cats, one horse (we may be getting another one), two peacocks (one is a girl turned male) three not wait four golden pheasants, another pheasant named Dukey, six doves, three chickens (kill the chickens kill kill kill), multiple fish, four turtles, and pigeons (last time I counted it was at ten). So there. All my animals minus or plus a few. And in my oppinion as long as you can afford the animals have as many as you want. If not then don't get animals, they need to be treated well.

  He has names for everyone.. but he dose not want to bore you.. He plans to get a reptile next year when he's got the money to get the things it will need. ^^

We used to have three cats, and a dog, but the first cat climbed into someone's vehicle and must've hitched a ride to a nearby town.
Or died ._.

And the dog was too hyper, so we gave her to a family with a huge ass field (Farmers :3) so she could run around and go nuts.

And the two cats we have are mine, and one of the kittens she had a couple years back, which belongs to my sister.

As for how many would be enough, I would have to sixteen of them. I've had that many and trust me, it is one big hassle. So I'm glad we only have eight right now. As for the owning of the pets, only one of those dogs are under my name and that is Star. She is my baby practically. I spoil her alot.

I don't really have a pet that's mine, but my sister have a "salamender" (Sorry for the mistakes), and a triton. We also have fishes.

The only animals who was really mine was a cat named "tresor" wich is "teasure" in english and a betta fish named "bubulle". I actually had alot of fishes after, but I always loved my first fish better (who lived for 4years). I still have photos of my cat. I really miss her T__T
