I think it's alright if you can handle it. I know that if I had children I'd want them in the Catholic church because I want to remain catholic. So as long as there is an agreement with that then it should be ok. There are many people who marry into different religions, most of the time one or the other converts, sometimes they don't. In the don't cases, they should take turns with their religion and let their children decide what they want to be when they are older.

I don't know, personally I couldn't handle it, but I'm sure there are many who can and it's their choice. There's not a law against it and I don't think there ever will be.

As for different races, I don't think that's a problem. I know for a fact since I'm half asian and half american/white. There is some racisim, but I love who I am and it just makes you love the friends you have more for they accept you for who you are. Race is becomming less of an issue as time goes on, It'll never go away, I wish it would, but the devil won't allow it

@dianakitsune: The... devil? I guess that is acceptable if you are speaking from the Christian point of view. : P

I'm sorry but a good deal of your first post is devoted to the idea that interracial/interreligion marriage and the child product there of will result in the child being discriminated against and that a parent shouldn't force that on there child.

So 2 people who love one another so deeply and fully as is the definition of the word Love shouldn't be married because there kid would be discriminated against?

I said it in another thread and I'll say it here, "Black people should not be aloud to have children because those children could be discriminated against and the parents shouldn't put there kid threw that." See how silly that sounds?

As for raising a child in 2 completely different religions; I think a raising a child to know both religions and being aloud to make there own choice is best. Hell I think kids raised with 2 religions have it so much better then those of us raised in only one because they HAVE the choice. They start off with more options in life and ultimately end with more.
