Do you have a concert you're looking forward to in the near future? Which show are you planning on attending? :]

As for me, it's been a long time since I last attended a concert, but tickets for my favorite band, The Magnetic Fields, next tour recently went on sale. I bought tickets for it today, so I'll be attending a show of theirs in February of next year! I am so excited! I've been waiting about 7 years to see them in concert, and I am desperately looking forward to it. :)

So, how about you?

To mods: I saw there was a thread for favorite concerts attended in the past/dream concerts in the directory, but there was no thread for concerts you're going to be attending soon. I hope this topic is ok, as I'm interested in knowing what all everyone is attending these days. ^-^ My apologies if this is considered a repeat!

In a couple of weeks I'm planning on going to a local show with Friendly Rich and the Lollipop People and Spiral Beach. I know the members of both the bands, so it should be pretty fun.

In January I plan to see the Dresden Dolls here in Toronto. :3

I just got back from a Bruce Springsteen concert with the most amazing encore ever. Girls in Their Summer Clothes, Thunder Road, Born to Run, Dancing in the Dark, and American Land. In that order.

I’m going to see The color Fred on Friday and 10 years on Sat.

i'm looking forward to seeing lots of bands at the bamboozle right, and also taking back sunday (performing with my chemical romance) and panic at the disco.

I'm not sure... maybe Tegan and Sara at the Glasshouse, or Enon... I was invited to see my friends play tonight at the Knitting Factory, for free 'cause they had extra tickets, but wasn't up to it since I've got to get up early tomorrow.

Man, oh man. I was supposed to attend the Avril Lavigne concert last night, BUT it was cancelled! Tomorrow night is Michael Buble. Both events were supposed to be held at my university (since we have Cox Arena -- namely, that's where the concerts are to be held, if not Open Air Theater)...but yeah, Avril was cancelled. Let's not hope that Michael Buble got sick too...coz I spent around $273 total for all tickets.

Oh, yes! I'm seeing Panic at the Disco next month. I'm going with two of my best friends and we all have floor tickets. I know there are some people who are like "Ew, Panic." But let me tell you. We saw them the year before last and they were AMAZING. It was so much fun.

Next gig im going to is.. tomorrow :3 its a local one, i dont know any of the bands, but my boyfriend needed someone to go with and i can never resist a gig x3

I'm counting down to the next one in my signature. I'm so excited for this it's not even funny.

In ten days, I'm going to see Miyavi. I'm going to be following him all through California. I seriously can't wait...I'm getting more excited by the day.

I think I will not be able to go on living if I don't go see The Birthday Massacre/Mindless Self Indulgence this summer. I love them both so much TT__TT

It looks like I might be buying tickets for Warped Tour soon and I just bought some to John Mayer for later this summer. I am also thinking about dragging my friend to see Augustana later this month.

My friend and I was about to get tickets to see the Honda Civic Tour in D.C but we couldn't go because we didn't have a ride ;_;... We were so depressed because Panic at the Disco and The Hush Sound are our first and second favorite bands! D:... BUT In the future we WILL go to Panic at the Disco and The Hush Sound concerts :3

Richard Cheese at Bimbo's in San Francisco on May 31st. He's a lounge singer that sings renditions of popular songs. XD He's hilarious and also awesome. It should be a fun show.

Hopefully I'll be going to see Mindless Self Indulgence in June. They're not coming to my state (Indiana), but they are coming to Louisville, KY and I have a friend that lives there that we can stay with. If we can get tickets, it's going to be epic win.

Next show I am going to is some place in North Carolina with my boyfriend. I believe it's just local bands.
But the next concert I'm going to is Warped Tour :3 So excited, I've never been.

I suggest trying to get tickets to see MSI :D They are amazing live, and if you're lucky they might come down and meet the crowd. I got to get a picture with Jimmy Urine. T'was amazing!
