It pains me to think that if I had played my cards right I could have had 100k++ now easily. But I didn't guess that the slippers would go up so high. Gaia is so discouraging about that. It didn't use to be that way - when I started my devil tail quest it had been fairly doable. Now though it seems pretty impossible for a beginner. >_<;; Or even a 2006/2007-er, unless they donate a lot I guess.

Besides with Mene even the more expensive items are reachable since you can post, play games etc. Earning a few k a day isn't too hard and the most expensive item is what, 40k? So in maximum two months you can get it if you really want it.

I've tried over and over again to get an OMG on Gaia .. I joined June 04 and at that time they were just breaking 100k. I thought that was doable at the time and tried so hard, but I've never managed it and I've accepted that I'm never going to get one either. >.<

The rares left after this are the Green clover hairpin, pot of gold, deco stockings (I've forgotten their full name xD) Kings crown, oriental fan x.x and scepter of chaos.

Well are you still on gaia? If you are, I can send some gold your way. ;]
