Yeah, since lions and tigers are different species of cats, the mix of their genes doesn't make the offspring steril. So all the ligers are unable to reproduce. Just like with mules.

I think the babies would look the same as them, even if they could.

I don't understand why mules can't breed either. I mean, it's like making sporks. at some point in time they are gonna run out of sporks and need more sporks so they have to wait on the factory to make more sporks but the factory can only work so fast so that people then wander around needing a spork but can't have one yet!
