Vincent looked a bit frustrated when she had done that. When she back on he didn't say anything. He hated horses now. He could have easily taken the jerk down himself if she hadn't chosen to not answer his question. He sighed slightly ignoring who was following them now and looking ahead at the mountains.

She stared at him for a moment "Are you mad? I think someone else is following us...Can you use a bow? I'm a little tired." She laughed. She dramatically wiped the sweat from her forehead with her whole arm and pulled out her bow, offering it to him.

Vincent took the bow and somehow bandage to flip around so he was facing backwards on the horse. A figure lept from the cover of the bushes. He took in arrow and put it in place. When the figure was directly behind them he let go, the arrow flying straight into the man's chest. The horse came along side him and he jumped onto it.

She noticed the horse was clueless when it came to which way to go. "You might want to switch horses with me, that one doesn't know where to go or how to get there."

"Alright," Vincent said jumping back onto the horse that she was riding. He had the bow ready still in case anyone else came. His eyes were searching the surrounding area for any danger that could be in front of them, or to the side.

She hopped from Cloud to the horse next to him and got it back on the path, petting its next to calm it the whole time.

Vincent was now fully aware of his inability to ride a horse. He gripped onto the mane slightly frightened though was too aware of the possibility of an ambush to recognize it. "When should we stop?" he asked.

She looked ahead on the trail a little and saw the next town was coming up. She decided the horses needed a rest. "mmmm...NOW!" She yelled it and Cloud stopped dead in his tracks. The other horse copied Cloud and Risa fell off the front of it laughing.

Vincent was surprised when he stayed on the horse. He took a deep breath to settle himself and then slipped off the horse. He looked at the town with slight interest though he was unfamiliar with this area. He glanced down at the girl that was now laughing and shook his head. He hadn't been able to bring any weapons but due to planning he had brought some money with him that he could use to buy a weapon.

"So now what do we do?" Vincent asked. "I'm pretty sure we've lost them but they'll be after us sooner than I'd like."

She jumped up and took off the horses sattle. "Umm..should we keep this?" She held up the sattle. "And I think we should rest here. I have money, I can get a room at that hotel..." She pointed to a hotel a little ways away.

"I hotel room would be nice and I don't think we need to keep the horse's saddle as long as you're riding the one who doesn't know where to go," he said with a nod. He looked at the town and scanned the surrounding area once more. He moved forward slightly so that he could be seen in the light a little more clearly. "That looks like a safe place so I think we can crash there for about one or two days, possibly more, if all goes well."

She threw the saddle off to the side "Sounds good to me." She lead the horses to the hotel which had a barn and checked in "Would you put them in the hotel's barn, please?" She asked Vencent before she went inside.

"Oh sure," Vincent said with a smile. He placed a hand on each of the horses and led them away. It was much easier than he thought and they seemed to like him for the most part. It was easy to find the hotel's stable and when he did he found two that were next to each other. He led them into their own stalls and shut the door behind them.

"Thank you!" She called after him before checking in. She got the key and found the room but went back to the front to wait for Vincent to come back so she could show him where the room was.

By the time Vincent had come out of the stall it was beginning to rain. He smiled since the rain would wash away any tracks they had left. He walked up to the front and entered to find her waiting for him. He smiled gently.

She smiled back and looked out at the rain for a moment "It's this way." She said, starting to walk outside.

Vincent shifted slightly not wanting to go outside. He followed her though with slight reluctance.

She unlocked the old door and walked inside, looking around the whole room. When she saw there was only one bed she moaned and turned to Vincent "Only one bed and a couch. I'll take the couch. I dislike used beds." She smiled and sat on the couch, turning on the old television and flipping mindlessly through the channels.

Vincent shrugged slightly and went into the bathroom. Once in there he went to the work of ringing out his clothes. "I'm taking a shower," he said after a moment. He shut the door and locked it.

She had found an interesting channel and wasn't paying much attntion to him when he said that, so she just mumbled "mmm hmm" Not exactly knowing what she was saying it to. When the door closed she jumped and then slapped herself for being so stupid and laughed.

The shower was quick and the clothes had dried by the time he was done. He came out now his hair wet and hanging in his eyes slightly and sat down on the couch. "Are you sure you don't want the bed?" he asked.

She looked at him and blinked at his wet hair, unsure why it was so wet, because she wasn't paying attention to anything but the television the whole time. "No...why is your hair so wet?"

"I told you I was taking a shower," Vincent said with a tinge of frustration. He hated it when people didn't listen to him.

She couldn't help but laugh "Sorry, I don't pay attention when I'm watching something interesting. It's a documentary on the world." She smiled and pointed to the television.

Vincent shrugged it off but moved to lay on the bed. He wasn't interested in television at all and he was a bit exhausted. He was unsure of a topic to talk about and was beginning to feel awkward.
