She sighed. Once she was sure Benjamen wouldn't try chasing her, she dashed into the forest to Vincent. She stopped dead in her tracks behind him. "I'm sorry..." She said quietly. "I hate keeping this from you...I really would tell you..." She tried to explain but simply couldn't. "All that know are cursed. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if we shared this curse with you..." She couldn't say anymore without giving it away. She didn't leave or move closer though. She simply stood. Silently waiting.

Vincent stopped when he heard Risa. He didn't say anything but he would follow what her brother said if it kept Risa safe. "I want you to be safe," he said bluntly. "I don't care if I'm cursed or in danger." The sun was shining on him now but he didn't notice it. It was weakening him and he took a few steps forward and stumbled slightly.

She shook her head with teary eyes. "I WONT LET YOU SHARE THIS HORRIBLE DARKNESS!" She screamed. Benjamen heard her and growled to himself. "Always with this!" He said to himself, shuffling into the forest after her. He found them near the middle of the forest and hugged her from behind. "Calm down honey...nothing you can do about it...just block him out of your mind...remember yourself..." He said calmingly to her. She gasped a little when he hugged her, surprised by his following them. She shook her head again and wiped the hears ff her cheeks. "You're not going to...not ever again...you're better than that...you know it...I know it...nothing will ever happen again...not with me around...never sweetie..." She shook her head "No, Ben..you're as wrong as wrong can be...That will happen always and forever...you can't take away my memories...my dreams...you can't erase my past...you know it's going to happen again...you know he will come back...you saw what happened...you heard it...you've seen me...with the darkness...you know it will...I know it will...we can't stop our fate...we can't change it...it will always happen over and over...until we stop...we...we...we can't change our lives...we can only post pone the darkness...in our time of possession...we simply must find our light..." She whispered to him, then pushed his am off and started back down the hill.

Vincent was too unaware to understand what they were all saying and twitched slightly from pain. He tried to turn over but he didn't have the energy to and the sun beating down on him was making it worse. "Help," he croaked hoping one would hear him.

Benjamen realized the sun was hurting Vincent so he picked him up and started back to the house in a jog.(heheheh)

Vincent looked at Benjamin for a moment and wondered where Risa was.

Benjamen laughed "Sorry about her, she's always over reactive, if you haven't noticed, but don't worry about her, she'll turn up eventually." Risa went past the house and into the town. She walked into the library and soon all of the other customers cleared, afraid of her glowing red eyes and sharp long teeth. She didn't read anything, or look for anything, she simply sat. Benjamen got inside and set Vincent down then hurriedly closed all the blinds. "She went off somewhere...d**n that girl...always walking off like that without telling anyone..." He said, shaking his head back and fourth in disapproval.

Vincent turned over slightly, wanting to say something but not really having the energy. His aunt always knew what to do when this happened and he missed her now. He didn't cry this time since he didn't have the energy. His last living relative was now gone. He felt completely lost but couldn't form the words. He just grunted at what Benjamin said and tried to roll over but failed, so he stayed in the position he was in.

Benjamen tilted his head in the same way Risa did. "If you need any more help, I'll just be reading today.." He said, concerned about Vincent's silence and stillness. A few hours later one of the librarians approached Risa. Risa was dazed again and didn't notice her until she spoke. "E-excuse me?" The woman asked in a shaky voice. Risa look to her with lifeless eyes and didn't say or do anything else. "T-the library is closing...i-in a few moments..." The woman said, frightened by Risa. Risa's eyes had faded from the steel they were normally to almost white. She stood up and smiled a broken smile to the woman, who was almost shaking. Risa though quickly to calm the poor old woman. She bowed, keeping her broken smile and dead eyes as they were "Thank you, ma'am, these contacts were starting to hurt anyway..." She said, and the woman sigh in relief and walked away. Risa shuffled out of the old library and towards the house. When she got there she found Vincent on the couch, motionless, and Benjamen sitting next to him reading a book. She put her hand on her face and started up the stairs to her room, grabbing an apple on her way.

Vincent didn't respond to Benjamin but noted how he tilted his head. He did move slightly however when Risa came in just to look at her. He was worried and didn't know what to do. He was on the edge of the sofa now and lost his balance, resulting in him falling off with a loud thud.

Benjamen looked up and Risa looked back but didn't do anything or say anything. Benjamen Jumped up and helped him back on the couch. Risa walked into her room shaking her head back and fourth.

After being helped back onto the couch he surveyed the room again. He wanted to do something rather than just sit here all day. Maybe he could find a way to help Risa when he went to the library, if he went there.

She sat in her room silently. She was still and calm. Soon her eyes began turning back to their steel-grey color they were supposed to be. Her smile was still in place. She couldn't figure out how to change her expression in her current dazed mind. Benjamen sighed, trying to find his page again then looked up at Vincent, who didn't look very happy. "uhmm..can you move?" He asked, obviously confused.

"A little but not much," Vincent admitted. "Do you have any books about curses?" He seemed particularly interested in that subject at the present moment but he wasn't going to admit why he was interested.

[I'm getting sick of writing his name out every time I refer to him!D=<) Benjamen smiled and nodded then went upstairs for a moment. When he came back he was a few books and set them down next to Vincent. "I'm pretty sure that's all...or at least all I can find..." He said with a laugh. Risa pulled her legs to her chest and rested her chin on her knee's, wrapping her arms around her shins. [Okay I just made this up it's called the darkness it's where you get an evil voice in your head that tells you what to do but only when evil is somewhere around you and usually you go crazy and do what it tells you to and when that happens, your soul is 'lost' and you're overcome by the evil voice which they refer to as 'Your darkness' and when this happens you usually go on a killing spree of people you love/close to you or you kill yourself that's all I though of so far and in this case it happened before when she killed her parents and friend and tried to kill her brother but now she can over come it..usually]

Vincent sat up slowly and felt slightly lightheaded and realized his sudden and overwhelming need to fee. He opened the first book and began skimming the pages to find a solution, if one could be found. He thought that since they owned the book they probably couldn't find anything on it or any solution.

[[should there be a way to fix it that they don't know about? It'd give a goal or solution the issue in the plot.]]

[could...=D] Benjamen looked at Vincent when he woke up. He had fallen asleep but saw that Vincent could move now so he walked drowsily to his room and fell asleep. Risa didn't sleep. She simply stared into space the whole time, in her odd, scared daze. She broke out of it near the middle of the night when she heard someone come up and close their door. She was very tired so she went to sleep too. [Sure]

Vincent fell asleep reading the book and was surprised when he woke up and it was night time. He decided it would be best if he hunted tonight so he snuck out of the house though he had a feeling he didn't need to sneak. Being out in the forest again made him feel at home, almost like his aunt was in the forest now rather than just a person beside him.

She woke up at night. She looked outside to see it was snowing lightly and snow was covering all of the ground and tree's, freezing the branches. The moon was full and all the snow and ice shimmered in the light. She smiled sleepily and shuffled downstairs to see Vincent was gone. She was too tired to realize he wouldn't be in his room and picked up the remote, clicking on the television and sitting down.

Vincent had gotten to the town fairly quickly and took to the shadows almost immediately. He heard splotches of gossip about a girl with very frightening eyes but ignored it. He moved along until he found a beggar who seemed very weak. He coaxed the person to rest and then he fed. The person seemed to calm when they realized the end was near.

She sighed and flipped through the channels until she found something that interested her. She watched it and waited for Vincent's return, if he did.

Vincent was glad when he got away from the town. He was near the house now and was just thinking, not really wanting to go inside. Shadowfax was with him and seemed to be connecting better for some odd reason.

She noticed the horses were still out so she lead them in. She was still very tired but couldn't sleep. She noticed Shadowfax was missing but paid no attention to her absence, assuming she was with Vincent.

Vincent stroked Shadowfax gently and she neighed. He walked with her then in the direction of the barn wondering how Risa was doing. He hadn't talked to her for a while but it was starting to feel awkward for him. He wasn't sure what he should say or shouldn't say.

She walked out of the barn and saw Vincent coming back with Shadowfax. She gasped quietly to herself, not thinking he was going to return.
