She nodded in agreement.

He closed his eyes and started humming a lullaby. He squeezed her hand slightly and then glanced at her.

The lullaby made her drowsy so she rubbed her eye with her free hand.

He stopped when he saw her get sleepy. "Do you want to go inside?" he asked. "We can watch something, anything you want."

She smiled "No, I'm fine," She said quietly.

"All right," Vincent said. "I wish I could tell you a story but I cannot think of anything."

She laughed "Oh, I could think of one..." She said, trailing off, thinking about her favorite story.

"Would you mind telling me the story?" Vincent asked staring at her for a moment. She brushed a few hairs out of her face smiling slightly.

She smiled and nodded. "There was once a goddess, more beautiful than any, and worshiped by all. One man, who went by the name of Theodore, fell in love with this goddess. Theodore was a failing painter who had learned the beautiful goddess was Splendore, the goddess of light. Theodore was so in love with this goddess, and he knew how much she disliked the darkness, so when the sun set, he took his brush and tablet and went outside. He called out 'Splendore, I will love you until the day I die, and I want nothing more than your happiness, so for you, I paint lights in this dark sky, of which I know you despise so!' Then he painted tiny twinkles all over the dark sky and one, larger, round, glowing one in the middle, so she would always have light no matter the time. Splendore loved his painting so much, she enchanted it, making the nigh sky, and she reached down her mighty hand and brought Theodore up to the heavens with her, to live on forever together." She finished smiling as she gazed at the sky.

"That is a nice story. It reminds me of the painting of the sun rise or set that you made for me," he said looking at her again. His features were slightly softened at the moment showing the true joy he had received from getting something like a painting of something he could never see again.

She grinned "I believe it was a sun set..." She laughed "But I can't remember anymore...my brother used to tell me that when I asked him why there was a moon and stars." She smiled at the memory.

"The moon and the stars are very beautiful," Vincent added. "I am very glad I can see them. It brightens your beautiful face." He looked at her again after staring at the sky. He could barely see her in the darkness now but the light from the moon highlighted some of her features.

She blushed and looked away.

Vincent couldn't see that she was blushing but saw her look away. "I'm sorry," he said blushing from embarrassment. "Did I say something wrong?"

She looked back, still half hiding her face, and laughed, sounding a little crazy. "Nothing at all."

Vincent nodded slightly still worried he had said something bad. "All right," he said with a smile. "I think we should go inside soon."

She nodded and sat up a little.

Vincent nodded and he sat up though he was reluctant. It was beautiful out and he had been comfortable there.

{sorrys hehe I was like blahflphhht flabbergastedness!} She stood up and rolled her shoulders then started walking towards the house slowly.

Vincent watched her for a moment and then followed her into the house, watching her movements. He stopped in the doorway to look back outside and up at the sky. The stars looked like they were winking for a moment and he laughed.

She looked back when he laughed and smiled sleepily, then made her way to her room and fell asleep.

Vincent sighed slightly and just walked in. he sat down somewhere and looked around, observing the room as it was.

A thunder storm started soon after, waking her. She grumbled and made her way down stairs to see Vincent. She sat on the floor next to him and smiled sleepily.

Vincent had fallen asleep and was also awoken by the thunder. He watched Risa descend the stairs and then sit next to him. He glanced towards her for a moment than looked away with a smile.

She turned the TV on and mindlessly stared at a fuzzy screen, content with the ringing sound it made.
