Vincent had lowered himself off the horse at this point. He had done it partially due to the fact that he knew that Risa was above him in some circumstances. Her eyes were a dark red color and they seemed excited though he stood ridged to the spot.

The man in front of them grumbled something to Risa and her grin disappeared immediately. "WHAT?" She snapped at him, not really in anger but in shock, then she sunk her head, and laughed. "Well then, I guess I have some use for you after all," She said to the man, and offered her hand for him to get on Cloud. He willingly took her hand and she helped him up, since he was a heavier man. "Well I can see you have stayed in shape," She said sarcastically.

Vincent glanced at Risa in confusion and still didn't not get back on Shadowfax. The horse seemed stubborn now and snorted slightly before stamping it's foot. When Vincent began to walk though the horse followed.

She looked back in silence. The man cleared his throat and tried to make conversation with her, but the way Benjamen was looking at him told him to stop. "So you got a haircut?" He asked quietly to Risa, nervously pulling a leaf apart. She shifted her gaze to him, almost frightened by his voice, then let out a quick burst of air and shook her head, turning her eyes back to Benjamen before she was finished. Her face hardened and her eyes gave him a silent but deadly warning to lave the man alone, so Benjamen shifted his glare to the quickly passing ground. Then she turned once again to the man behind her and smiled.

Vincent had managed to separate himself from the group with a good half mile. He had begun to run shortly after disappearing into a thick patch of bushes and did not intend to turn back. He was gasping for air as he knelt down in front of a tree trying to control himself. The scent seemed to hang about him and it was screwing with him in the worst sense possible.

She looked ahead for Vincent but couldn't see him. She sighed but shrugged it off, reminding herself that he would eventually find his way back, as usual.

Vincent had come back to his senses after a while though the scent was lingering in the air still. He could hear a strange voice and he looked around. Fear gripped him as he saw a bird fly over head and the near silence. You poor child the voice said. He could tell that it was a female but the tone almost frightened him. Being imprisoned only to find the world is much more brutal than they say it is. You poor child. Come to me and I'll show you how to get back at them.[/i]

After a while Risa couldn't take the silence anymore "So how did you find us?" She asked the man behind her. "It was just luck, I guess," He answered and, not believing in luck herself, Risa had to disagree. "just remember who you're with, this time." He shook his head and shut his mouth after that.

"Foolish man," Vincent muttered to himself. The scent of werewolf was hitting him again and her heard a low growl to his left. He laughed slightly, a fiendish laugh as if he were ready to tear something apart. "Oh you made a mistake little puppy."

She became tense when she smelled the awful stench of werewolves. Her breathing became shorted and faster, as if she was panting, then she called for Vincent again. "Vincent," She sung his name, dragging out each syllable slowly "come out come out wherever you are..." She said in a taunting voice, the smell was getting to her. Benjamen had overcome it easily, because he had more training before he was attacked by Risa. The man put his hand on her shoulder to restrain her "Calm down Risa" He said quietly to her. She tried to do as he directed but found it hard. She grumbled "stupid good for nothing werewolves...why don't they just go extinct!" She yelled into the darkness angrily.

Vincent had heard his name but he still lunged forward at the werewolf that had appeared before him. It yelped before struggling to get away and what seemed to be a chorus of howls went up. Apparently that hadn't been the wisest idea but he couldn't help himself... he was trained to not have resistance unless there was someone there commanding him.

He barely noticed the blood on his hands and the horse just stood there and snorted. He looked at the horse confused for a moment before shaking his head and refocusing his blood red eyes on the area the werewolf had come from.

She sighed and closed her eyes. She opened them again and they were back to their steel-silver color. She took a deep breath and got off Cloud. She walked at a quick pace towards the smell, making sure to keep focused and stay on the trail. She soon found Shadowfax and pet her to calm her down. "Go on back, hun" She said calmingly to the spooked horse. "Vincent," She called, slowing her pace as she entered the small forest next to the path.

Vincent was nearly rooted to the spot when she came to where he was. He jumped slightly though regained his focus on what was around him. "What do you want?" he asked in a strained polite voice. "Don't you have your little friend to take care of back there?" He wasn't acting like himself but what he was saying he truly thought, he just would never normally ask that type of question.

She rolled her eyes "He's anything but little, and no, you should come back, in case someone else finds us, someone who's not a friend." She said in a stern voice, not really asking him to but ordering him to.

Vincent partially stopped his act for the most part. He still didn't trust the guy though and was a bit annoyed by how she responded. He muttered something before heading back in her direction. "Who is he anyways," he asked bowing his head slightly.

She was speechless for a moment, "Someone who got in my way, and shouldn't be alive." She said simply, hoping he wouldn't question her answer.

Vincent stilled looked perlexed. She wasn't giving him details and he wanted details. "Do you fancy him at all?" he asked. It was really the less blunt way for him asking if she liked him.

She cocked an eyebrow. "I tried to kill him because he was literally in my way. Do you really need to ask?" She said a bit harshly, not wanting to give details of the man's identity, but she sighed, figuring that wouldn't be enough for him.

Vincent flinched slightly when she snapped and seemed to have regressed back into a servantile manner that he'd been trying to escape for so long. "Yes ma'am," he said politely. "Would you like to ride the horse ma'am or would you prefer to continued to share it with the man ma'am."

The stared for what seemed like eternity at him "Whats that about...?" She asked suspiciously, studying him carefully for any clues. "I'll share Cloud, its fine...." She answered after the longest time.

"Please m'lady," he said. "Take my horse, I am fit to walk." Essentially a shield was almost completely unaware of had been lowered at this point. "I am fit to walk." He bowed slightly and would almost demand that she take Shadowfax.

She looked at him for a moment, deciding what to do, then shrugged "I'm fine with Cloud...you can stay on shadowfax..." She said, giving him one last suspicious look before turning away and heading back towards the horses.

Vincent followed her with shadowfax, not daring to mount him in case in disrespected anyone. He was silent too as he walked, wishing this 'person' would just leave.

She was confused by his actions but tried her best to ignore them, though she couldn't truthfully say it wasn't getting on her nerve. "Seriously Vincent, what's with you?" She demanded, giving him no more than a second to answer "You're all like oh miss don't you want this horse? because its totally not my place to be riding a horse!" She said, acting over dramatic and waving her hands around as she said this "even though it is! Seriously its freaking me out! Like at first I was like a little," She moved her hands "weirded out and now I'm like," She moved her hands again in a different direction "FREAKED OUT!" She yelled, obviously over reacting.

Vincent had jumped, a bit shocked at first but then he seemed to ignore the yelling almost or as if he were being punished. The shift in persona had been merely because she'd told him (what he saw a command) to stop what he was doing. The scent of the werewolf was still strong for him and that was what was driving him to be like that.

"I apologize m'lady," Vincent said with a slight bow, eyes were now a yellowish color, "I was only trying to follow the rules that were set." Shadowfax snorted slightly and shook his head. He went back to them and started nudging the stranger that was on the other horse's back.
