I like my cats and dogs to have fur, it makes it more fun to cuddle with them that way. x]

But I've always kind of wanted a hairless guinea pig.
They look really cute and fragile, and guinea pig fur makes me itch, so I could actually hold it without getting a rash. :B

@Aisha: Tiki’s the one with the collar on and Parker’s the puppy. ^^; Yeah, I thought that their heads looked like they should be on a fuzzy dog too, especially when we first got Parker.

I agree furless pets are on the whole, mostly ugly. But ugly in a cute way! >.<

I rather have a pet with soft fur because I like to cuddle.

Unfortunately, my nose (and my family's) won't allow me to. T-T

I used to have a hairless rat named Yoda.
He was kick ass.
I love hairless animals.
You should get a chinese-crested dog.

I gots an Idea! Make yourself allergic to fur then your mother can only consider a hairless pet and thats when you can get your fur less friends to be your pets! I think fur less pets are cool too but I cant seem to get myself allergic to fur!

I'm not really into furless pets. Sometimes they creep me a lot. I'd prefer to have a normal pet with fur coz I think they look adorable and I think they're more cute with fur.

But furless pets are okay with me. :wink:

I think if I got a hairless rat I would so dress it up in clothes... xD It would be an awesome thing to take pictures of. ^^;;

well i think that's a great option for someone with allergies,
or in a very hot climate
also i imagine they would be more sanitary (nothing caught in hair)
personally i think the cutest dogs are the very short-haired ones, but not entirely hair-less :D
unfortunately, most of those types have a bad reputation :(

@shellthebunny; although i too think chinese crested are cute, they win almost every year at the ugliest dogs competition (if you want, look it up) i think the dogs there are cute though xP

To me they look like they would feel weird and/or gross.

Oh man!! I actually have a cat...and he's not furless but he has REALLY short hair, an dlooks hairless, it's really funny....but he's old...plus that's also the kind of 'breed' he is.

He's a cornish rex.

EDIT: And with allergies it's REALLY good...my mom is actually allergic to cats but with him she is usually pretty good...I mean if she pets him and then rubs her eyes or something they will get irritated but overall he sleeps in the same bed. haha.
