Yeah, I have a weird one sometimes were I swear someone says my name really loudly

Unless you've had some kind of traumatic brain injury or something, yes. Especially f you wake up panicked, but not knowing by what...you can safely assume you've had some kind of dream.

Occasionally. Not often.. Maybe once or so a month. -shrugs-

Are you kidding me? xD The minute I'm sure I've got it all memorized I force myself to sleep again... Nightmares are something I look forward to.. It's very interesting to me to see how my mind portrays things when I'm not consciously directing it---sometimes it's a wonder that it wasn't read off a book--and sometimes it's just so strange I wonder what inspired me.
It really is INCREDIBLY interesting though <3 I love my nightmares, I look forward to them.

I think my dream was like..something where a guy in my class grew into a flying monkey in the arctic and I started laughing. :|

I've had a dream where I woke up crying.
And I don't remember the dream being... scary or sad.

That was the weirdest thing I've done,or at least one of .
When I was little and had nightmares I'd Sneak downstairs and quietly open the door of my mother's room and just sleep on the hard wood floor.
Nothing but me and the floor.

And I actually would sleep.
My Mother always thought that was unusual but I was like.
"I AINT SLEEPIN WITH THE GHOSTIES."

As I grew I up I learned ghosts don't exist~
And actually slept in my own bed.
I haven't had any nightmares lately,I always have odd dreams.
I wake up and have a "Wtf" moment then go back to bed.
Hopefully go back to bed.

I still wake up from bad nightmares, with my heart beating frantically and most of the time my legs are sweaty, and then I can't sleep becasue the dream is stuck in my head, even thoughI know it's a dream I just can't get it out of my head

Yep! I woke up after I had a "nightmare" of everyone around me dying and when I died I would always come back to life! I woke up in the middle of the night just thinking how cool that dream was!.... but no laughing...

No ... Or at least I say I don't. It's wierd. What others call nightmares... I call them dreams...

I wake up from my dreams every single night! xD
normally it's because of a very weird dream that i can't handle how messed up it is anymore,
but just as often as not, i wake up from punching my pillow, screaming, laughing, or imaging my cat or hair is a spider, lawl!
Oh and it takes me forever to get back to sleep,
(except, oddly enough, i fall asleep really fast after punching something in my sleep...xD
maybe it's so i can get back to the fight xD)
Also, does anyone here have painful dreams?
they say you can't feel pain in dreams, but that's bull!
