Oh man, I have them!
Like...When I go to bed, I have to be under the covers, because I can't sleep. I feel like being under the covers is safe. I'm freebin' 14. I know, sad huh? I can't have my feet dangling off the edge of a bed, either. I'm scared of something touching them, or grabbing me or something o__O
So question to you, gee-dee, is do you still have any stupid fears you had as a small child?

I might have a few.
Sometimes I have a fear of being left somewhere... like, being forgotten.
But... I dunno if that's a fear I had as a child.
I dunno...

I'm 19 and I still have nightmares about them
My mother says its cause when I was younger I had this bathtime mermaid thing that would make ungodly noises. It even freaked my mother out.

Oh my gawd, forgot to mention CLOWNS!
I told my aunt one time when we were talking about clowns, and she said that the next time she saw a clown, she'd tell it to hug me. I told her if it did, I would yell 'RAPE!'
Yes. I really, really would.

I'm only miffed by those things when they're mixed. I definitely don't like to wake up at night to a doll. Just sitting there. In the dark. ._. I guess I'm not scared of much, especially the dark. I write better at night.

Yes. Whenever the house is dark, and I'm going either upstairs or downstairs, I run because I think there's someone who'll grab me and kidnap me or kill me. x-x;;

After watching something scary I start thinking that whatever it was is gonna jump out of me. XDD For almost a week I kept thinking that Pyramid Head was gonna appear behind my bedroom door and slice me with his sword. It's my own fault. I had watched Silent Hill 3 videos. XDDDD
Also get scared that something is gonna grab my ankles from under my bed. DX It's slowly going away. XD
Not sure of much else. >_> When I was little I used to think that rats would come out of the toilet... XDDDD

- i'm paranoid that someone's looking at me or watching me when i sleep, so i always pull the curtains close on my window and i ALWAYS close my door. I keep thinking something will come into my room and maul me. >_>
i used to be afraid of vampires too. LOL I used to pull the blanket almost over my head when i slept and cover my whole body. but i always knew that a blanket was never going to protect me from someone that's going to want to drink my blood... >< it just sorta felt better when i did it. i even did it when it was super hot! it was horrible!

I'm horribly afraid of needles and will avoid them at all costs. I don't even like getting flu shots. >.> It's odd but in someways I'd rather deal with the flu then get poked with a needle. *shivers*
I'm not really afraid-afraid of the dark, but my mind plays tricks on me a lot so I can creep myself out easily. xD I guess my large imagination gets the better of me.
Other than that... I've mostly over come my childhood fears. I still don't like spiders, but I won't go running away in terror like I did with I was smaller. >.<;;

- ...oh my gosh. I didn't think anyone had the same kinds of fears. *laughs* I seriously need to cover myself when I go to bed...namely my feet or I'll be too scared to sleep. When I'm in a long hallway alone, I'll glance back and around corners often. If I'm in a staircase and I hear someone above or below me, I'll start running to my destination. I don't want to be "caught" or something. And...if I'm somewhere with someone like shopping, I freak out if I lose sight of them. I don't want to be left behind. >_<; *is such a loser* D:

when it comes to rational fears that most people are afraid of, i don't get scared easily. however, i had the most bizarre fears as a child and for some strange reason, i still have them.
for instance, as a kid i was terrified of the little caesar pizza man cartoon mascot. for those of you that don't know what the little caesar pizza man looks like, he looks like this:
i seriously used to have nightmares of this thing when i was kid. i had horrific dreams of the little caesar guy somehow invading my house and devouring me and my entire family. even looking at this picture now makes me cringe.
and another strange fear i had as a child was a fear of the music video sledgehammer by peter gabriel. i understand that the music video was incredibly innovative, but there's this one scene where these two eggs hatch into decapitated rotisserie chickens doing a dance. as a kid, i expected cute little chicks to come out of those eggs. so when two decapitated chickens appeared and started dancing on the screen, it seriously freaked me out. my fear of this scene from the music video was so bad that i stopped watching mtv altogether for years because i was so afraid of viewing that music video. i still have problems watching that music video to this day because of that one scene.

I am still a little afraid of knives no matter how blunt when they are in someone else's hands. When I am holding them0 I am fine though. Also I still get a bit edgy when I am outside and it is dark. That is probably just paranoia, since I am fine when I am with someone else.

...Well. Spiders, for one. xD I never really could understand why I was so absolutely terrified of them. It's not like they're going to hurt me or something. But every time I see one, I STILL freak out.
The sleeping thing sounds like me, though. Being under blankets DOES make me feel safer, and like you, I pretty much always have to have my feet covered or I feel uncomfortable. Also... I have to sleep with the blanket covering at least up to my ear, if not the majority of my head. I do believe this was all started when I was little and was into the Animorphs series. I was only eight when I started reading them, you see, and to a third-grader, parasitic aliens seem a lot more believable than to an eleventh grader. Even so, the habit has not yet died. :'D

I have to have a blanket in order to go to sleep. Not because I'm afraid of anything, but because it feels uncomfortable without one...I also tend to get cold easily. >.>;

I don't think it stupid or childish, but I've always had a fear of open heights. I'm fine aboard an airplane (you kind of feel safe because it's enclosed), but I'd never go on a helicopter or a hot-air balloon.

I can't sleep without being under my blanket. If I'm not under my blanket, I think that someone is going to grab me and pull me under my bed. I'm also afraid of clowns, dolls, spiders eyes(they have so many. it creeps me out), heights, and open closets at night.
I used to be terrified of escalators when I was younger. I thought they would collapse when I was on them.

Eek. I'm a chicken. So I also feel like the covers are safe. I used to have this timy night light that had to be on, not anymore though thank goodnesses. Another thing is I can't sleep with my door closed, or with my curtains open.
I don't even like sleeping at other peoples houses, because It's. . creepy. I'm only afraid of ghosts really. AND. I sleep with stuffed animals. About five of them are on my bed.
