Childhood fears that are still with me because of one thing or another. (stupid scary movies)
I hate clowns, I saw IT as a kid and now I'm forever scarred. I have to have a night light, I'm scared of something coming out of the darkness and getting me, though that fear is slowly going away, now I just have the night light to make sure I don't step on a dog at night when I get up. I have to have my closest shut, or I think the Bogeyman might get me. I hate all dolls that look real, and that my friends is thanks to Chucky! I got that fear from watching one of the older films as a kid. Lets just say, I put my barbies in the closest and I never played with dolls again. >.>

Im still scared of lady bugs cuz when I was little I would always play with the ladybugs and my mom thought it was really annoying so she told me that they bite really hard and now Im scared to pick them up cuz even though I know they cant bite me I still freak out. O.o;;;

Especially being in the dark alone, if I'm with other people I'm fine.

Haha. Yes, I do. I sometimes feel scared in the dark. But it rarely happens xD

Yes. I still fear heights and sometimes the dark. D; I don't think heights is necessarily a childish fear though.

well.. I'm afraid of zombies o_o

I have a really lively imagination, so sometimes I fear being alone in the night :3 especially if I'm outside.

I'm fourteen, and I've been deathly afraid of bees/wasps/anything that flies with a stinger since I was a little kid. I've never been stung, but I HATE them. Just the idea of getting stung makes me cringe.

In fifth grade, when we went to camp, the first day there I had a chicken sandwich from chick-fil-a. As soon as I got to the eating area, a TON of bees started CHASING me and my sandwich. I finally threw the sandwich down on a table and started crying. It was so scary!

&& Whenever my friends and I are at 6 flags and we pass a trash can with loads of bees, I squirm and get as far away from it as possible within the group. I scream sometimes if one flies in front of my face, too. I know it's silly to be scared of such a small little bug that would only hurt me if I threatened it, but still. I can't help what I'm scared of!

I'm scared of many, many things. I have more phobias than anyone else I know. Some highlights from my list of phobias are:
spiders
men (although there's uh.... reasons behind that....)
snakes
most sea creatures
porcelain dolls
YOUR MOM.

Actually that last one is a joke. But yeah. Those things are the ones I'm most scared of. I have more phobias though, little minor ones. And I'm 18.

I can't get out of my bed in the dark. If I do, the monsters on the floor will eat me. Also, if I don't have stuffed animals with me while I sleep, I will die.

Oh my god, I am PATHETIC when it comes to this. BUT I'm not as bad as I was when I first moved out on my own xD.

For one, NOTHING gives me nightmares like Jurassic Park. Don't-ask. xD

When I wake up from like a T-Rex trying to eat me, I wake up in a sweat and I'm too frightened to get out of my bed because...ye know, there might be a dinosaur there to eat me xD.

I have the same with always checking under my bed and being paranoid about it. Same with the closets. AND every time I use the restroom, I don't care where I am, I ALWAYS check behind the shower curtain first.

I felt so alone with that until now!

I get scared all the time at night, i always think someone is in my room coming to kill me, but my biggest fear is manikins any time i see them at the mall or a vintage shop i get so freaked out. :oops:

I am really afraid of ventrioquist dummys. That and falling off a cliff or a really high place. I'm afraid of heights, too. I'm not really afraid of the dark, just ghosts and stuff.

and i cant sleep with my door shur or my closet open xD

Also, i'm afraid of heights. Like, i'd be having a good dream, and i'd just fall... And the whole sequence would go over and over until i opened my eyes. xD; And phones. i won't run away from a phone or something, it's just like if someone heard my conversation and found my house... -shivers-

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has to be under the covers XD I don't feel so alone now..

But I've also been reminded of something else. Whales. Or rather, the whale sound. H'omagosh it is FREAKY. And whales in general look creepy...

And about the whole ladybug thing, I'm scared of picking them up too. I know they can't bite, but when I was younger, I think one of my siblings told me they did. I'm just so scared to mess with them D: But they're so cute...*shivers at the thought of them biting*

yeah, i can't sleep with the door shut, either.

I need something over me when I sleep too...at least a sheet. I don't think it's really that weird though. I'm 20 and I don't plan on growing out of it.

I'm afraid of driving and of being in huge crowds. I still do those things all the time, but they're really scary sometimes. More scary than they should be.

I'm DEATHLY afraid of moths.
I hate them, so much, I scream like a little girl and run away.
xD It's so ridiculous.

If I'm in water where my feet can't touch the bottom, I'm likely to freak out.
When I was about four I almost drowned so that might have something to do with it.

walk into a room without first turning the all the lights in the area on.

I used to be afraid of having my bed up to my window, because i would think that someone would break the glass and grab me by my neck and drag me out the window. my bed hasn't been up to a window since :]

I'm still scared of the monster in my closet and under my bed xD I just have a mattress on the floor because of my fear of something lurking under my bed waiting to come out and gut me eating me alive >.>; I'm also scared of demons and monsters in my basement and attic.
