Well xD I don't really take credit for "gettin gher into it," but I have this friend who I've known for a couple years -- when I first met her, she was a science nerd who teased me for being into anime and manga and music and anything Japanese in general xD But I guess somebody got her into something, because now she's into it all xD At least as far as Japanese rock and fashion and the Japanese language and stuff goes xD It's kind of funny xD

my sister got me into cosplay and i love it so much now lol
i got my boyfriend into loads of anime/manga series
like fullmetal alchemist,naruto and now bleach

tee hee its great though because it makes us share more interests :lol:

not that we dont already but it gives us something to talk about sometimes when we are bored

I started the whole "anime phase" at my school in 6th grade. then I got bored of most of the things they were watching and I moved on to yaoi. now all the girls are watching that. then i moved to j-rock . And I still love it. But yeah Lolita clothes rock. I have a few dresses from BABY that I absolutley love and I wear on the weekends and to school. but I wouldn't dare wear them in the u.s. because it's japanese fashion to be worn in japan (my opinion). But I do wear my Sex Pot (clothing) coat a lot in the u.s. just because it doesn't stand out a lot.

xD It all started when I saw Chobits for the first time... I've turned my friends into anime freaks. Some of them, at least.

I've gotten one friend into yaoi...By accident XD She was talking about japanese games, and I came up with it.

Anyway, I do like gothic lolita, but i'd rather make my own clothes than buy them. It's funner that way.

Oh, thats sounds awsome. Well, I wouldnt wear it on the streets either here in U.S., not for the same reason as yours, just that it would seem kinda akward. I already wear jrock stuff though, I must look like a total wannabee *shuns self*
