So i was looking at how many people that were online. And then I saw that the most users ever online was 574. Then i began wondering if Menewsha has ever scheduled a time to all be on at the same time in an attempt to break this record?

I don't think that Mene has scheduled a time like that.
Getting people to log on might be difficult though.
That record probably came from the Halloween event when we all had a special incentive to be here.

I think if we ever do try that, we should wait awhile until our new server gets used to the normal loads. Especially since the server was confused last week.

It would be fun to try and do that though.

That was a hard week, I would end up typing up these really detailed posts then click submit and get that server error >< I ended up trying to preview after every few lines to make sure things were still up and running (copying my post before hitting the button of course).

Luckily, things seem to have been worked out *knock on wood*

You know...I think in maybe a month or so it would be fun to try and arrange that ourselves...why wait for someone else to arrange it?

Why would you try to arrange something like that with the troubles we've had lately with the servers? I don't want to get kicked off because you want to overload the servers. Try it later by all means, but I certainly won't be participating with it.

I fail to see why you'd want to artifically increase it? It's there to give statistics. Not for you to get bored one day and try to manipulate.

I really do not feel like killing the sever. But it will probably be broken come the next events. It always is.

Maybe they'll update to a working server of more capability for the next event. They won't for some silly "Let's try to blow the servers" thing...

If I remember correctly, that was the Tektek fiasco.

When we had so many users come over from Gaia because of the add on Tektek. O.o

I think that users are more likely to log on during an event than a scheduled date or time.

And Random is right now I come to think of it. I remember watching the user number soar and there was a running count on one thread where people were like in awe at the over 500 users...

Correct, our last recourd was set on the Days of Tek. About a week or more before the HAlloween event happened.

Angel thinks she was on too. It scared her that we were over 500 users online. She doesn't know if she was on at the peak though. She did pity the mods >_<

I prefer keeping the comunity small as it is now we are fine the way we are...idk it might of course be on the plans to grow bigger but that doesnt mean I would like it to be big though I understand the plans, it is obvious, but doing something like trying to break a record..like gaia did...no I dont think it is smart...more like a bit lame, it is not a race at least for users it is not, maybe for owners of that place it was.

I have thought about this before. I want to see us (Menewshians) break this number. I hope we beat the one thousand mark. Oh, and if we do maybe there will be an item! That will be so cool.

I wonder how many people the server can hold? We should make an event out of it some time, it might be fun.

That would be really bad, it would overload the server's and yeah, they'd probably have this site down for a few hour's, or even day's, to try and fix it, but you do have an intresting idea, I probably wouldn't be apart of it though, i don't want to get introuble. xD
