haha, well my favorite ones so far are twism, xaitoh and lobsterjohn [in case you don't know him here are some samples..[x][x]], but then again I don't really have an extensive knowledge of all the artists on gaia, I prety much like everything that looks nice xD;;
But yeah I totally see what you mean... a lot of artists are overrated because they sell themselves out [or make themselves extremely limited... but those ones are usually prety good artists xP;]. I remember I got a bunch of really awesome art for cheap... like less than 5k cheap xP here are some 1__ 2__ 3__.

and haha xDD I usually try never and sell my items unless it's for profit... I have like, 1500 invo items, most of them commons/event crap that I stuck into storage xP;;

I do a crumble top coffee cake, so instead of icing it is just sugar+butter+cinnamon (: Though I think I do have an icing recipe somewhere but I'm not really a fan of frosting on my morning meal XD and I love cinnamon >.> yummy <3

  I've heard of Twism! I really liked her art, but I never got the chance to buy her art because there were always people all over it. XD I did, however, find out later that she was the same person as Kathy on Gaia and she had drawn me a freebie before. :o

  devil tail and DJs were a lot less back then, yah, but you have to remember that the items were also a lot less XD; so, let's say (not saying this was what i offered, but i'm just using as an example):
  
  in 2004, i had 100 march 2004 letters or something. let's say march 2004 letters was going for 10k each at the time. let's say devil tail was worth, i dunno... less than 1 million at the time? and i traded 100 march letters to buy a devil tail. that's around 1 mil at the time, right?
  
  but if you were to convert that to how much that would worth now, 100 march 2004 letters = 95 million (@ roughly 950k per letter) @[email protected]; so technically, youu paid more for it then than you did now. XD; things seem to be more expensive because of the inflation of the other things as well :lol:
