My favorite 'main' dish is probably Stove Top stuffing with bits of turkey and brown gravy over it. <3 Too wonderful.

And sadly, for some of the last few Thanksgivings, not something we actually had, since we'd been eating Thanksgiving dinner over at my brother and his wife's house. And his wife's family sort of 'took over' with their own family traditional dishes, and they don't like ours. :c

Boo. I almost boycotted Thanksgiving this year (and have one of the previous years) to not be subjected to that. But we had it this year. \o/

My favorite dessert dish is cherry pie.
We didn't have that this year. But we did have something called "dump cake" which is a semi-cobbler dish with cherries, pineapple and graham crackers or something else crunchy/crusty. It was very good but people kept pointing out that it was terribly buttery and thus unhealthy. XD;

My favorite dishes are green bean cassarole and pumpkin pie. My mom and i just started making green bean cassarole last year, with french cute style green beans. And I really liked it. So now it is one of my favorites. OH, another one ofm y favorite things is deviled eggs. Though I only got to eat one this year and my cousin took the rest of ours, I guess by accident, but I don't know.

i've been a vegetarian for three years,
so thanksgiving dinner doesn't consist of much for me.
however, my grandma makes THE BEST pumpkin pie.
she has to keep making more,
because it's all we've been eating the past few days.
i think we've actually gone through three pies. O_O

I'm going to have to agree with Shikyo, this is such a great dish.
But I don't eat turkey! I hate the stuff, so I usually have Clam Chowder or something.

I like Brown Gravy! (Not Turkey Gravy.) I love drinking Gravy by itself (I know I am weird). Brown Gravy on Turkey is better than the turkey gravy.

I'd have to say that my favorite is definitely the sweet potatos. Just cook some marshmallows, brown sugar, and maybe just a tiny bit of normal sugar into it and it's perfect. :3 :o

Turkey!!
I love stuffing and mashed potatoes, but we have those all year round. Turkey isn't so common. So definitely the turkey.

Pumpkin pie is good too. I'm eating some now.
But only a little. Sooo sugary...

Stuffing for the win.

I could just eat a little bit of stuffing and maybe a small bit of mashed potatoes with gravy and I'd be a very happy lady. I don't like turkey much.

I don't really like Thanksgiving though. I hate obligatory "family time". I like my family, don't get me wrong, but I've always found big huge-ass meals to be more fun with friends.

Corn!
And the stuffing and sometimes this one type of rice.
But stuffing gets kinda gross.
And she rarely serves the rice.
But all the time,
CORN!
Its out of the can.
But she puts butter and some pepper mixed in with it.
Mmmmmm.
I look forward to it every year!
