wow, when there were brief time periods where my bed was unavailable i would at least be able to sleep on the couch. i hope they at least tried to make it comfortable for you because that sounds terribly uncomfortable, especially for a whole year. i don't think i would have been pleased at all if i had to endure a situation like that due to the fact i have terrible chronic neck pain. i hope you didn't have any muscle pain from that hard floor

@ memarcus, oops, :D I forgot to say, that it was a mattress that was on the floor. I didn't have the bed frame, or a box spring. My parents are inhumane, ....well they are...but not like that.

lol, i was about to say. the first poster at least mentioned she had a mattress so i thought that there was a mention of a possible difference between the two situations. so i thought there was either reason to be concerned, or you must have really liked to sleep on hard floors. lol, j/k

That chair actually looks pretty cool. o.O
I'd like to reorganize my room, but I know I'd need help to move everything and no one will help me. Maybe I'd even find the Gladiator movie I lost. xD I used to sleep on the couch, then the floor, then on a mattress on the floor, then on two mattresses stacked on top of each other. Finally, I got a really cool bedframe. It is supposed to be for a water bed, but shh. xD
My friend's cat freaks me out. She used to live near me so I'd usually see him. I was sitting by a tree near her house one night and I happened to look over and I could see him sitting in the middle of the road in front of her house. It looked like he was staring at me. I looked away for a while and looked back. Now he was a couple houses toward me, sitting in the same position on the speed bump. I turned away again and when I turned back, he was sitting next to the stop sign near me, still staring. Pretty creepy to see this big black cat advancing on you without actually seeing it walk. xD Of course, that probably had a lot to do with being alone in the dark.

Well when my ex and I lived together I hadn't changed my room in like six years. Then he moved in so I had to move a bunch of my stuff to make room for his.
Well he decided we should move our bed to the corner of the room, and the book case against the wall, next to the other window.
It was no fun.
Then he moved out a while ago and took his bed, and my sister took my bed so I sleep on an air mattress, on a bed spring. It's not too bad...just different. Oh well.
Ya know? ^-^
I'm not planning on moving, ever. I have free food/board, why would I want to move. >.<
