Rammy: Oh wow, only 5 minutes!! ^ o^
You're welcome. I had fun making it, and just playing around with some of the tools on PSE. > w<
Rowan Flare: Your image has such a playful pose, I love that. I find my self drawn to images that display different poses as well as angles.
You had asked for any ideas for improvement, so in response to your question...
There are a few things to keep an eye out when doing dynamic poses or even poses that move away from the norm (as in the normal face forward pose and body slightly to the side-- example: high school photos XD)
Watch for proportions.
Some times if I am unsure if the legs I drew are the same length I will actual measure them by using my pencil or finger... or whatever I have near by.
There were only minor proportional errors, but over all good.

I included some other suggestions in a lineart sketch of your character. I hope that helps.
Keep up the great work Rowan Flame. I look forward to seeing your coloured version!! :D
Kalium: Your Chibi Warrior is cute. Is that an original character of yours?
Sadistix_Love: Don't say that. You've got some details that look good. I am liking the eye style that you chose for your character. The style reminds me of Clamp styled anime (just certain details, but that is not a bad thing at all).
I also did a quick lineart sketch from your existing image (just like the one done for Rowan) just giving you some pointers on how to shape the face a bit more (I know you did not ask for any suggestions, so I hope you don't mind).

There are a bunch of arrows that just kind of point to areas to watch for. Like the ear, make sure it lines up to the proper area on the face. And for his shoulders, I just moved them up a little.
Just keep practicing and I am sure your skills will improve. ^_^
Emoticon: Did you do that all with pen?
I like your style as well, the eyes and nose and even how you do the lips!! C:
