So today I was with my friends, and she was being weird as usual. She started chanting "Mirror mirror on the wall" for some odd reason, and the 3rd time she did it the mirror broke. o.o

Since she's superstitious, she ran around saying she'd have bad luck for 7 years.

Are you guys superstitious?
Do you like Snow White?
Mirrors? <3 or </3?
Anything else. :3

xD I guess that the Mirror wasn't a fan of Snow White.

._.; If I break a mirror, I just worry about cutting myself on the glass.

  • Oh my goodness!
    I love Snow White.
    -proudly wears a Grumpy t-shirt constantly-

    I'm not really superstitious.
    I do believe in ghosts and things though.
    That's spooky about the mirror breaking while she was chanting.
    xD

  • I'm not superstitious usually, but the one thing I do that I've done since I was a kid is try to avoid stepping on cracks or lines in the pavement. Some days I don't mind, and some days I have to look really hard at the floor wherever I go and do my best to stay on the whole parts... those are usually the days when I'm feeling more paranoid in general, though. ^u^;;

    I also count magpies when I see them to tell my fortune. X3

    Snow White was okay. Wasn't my favourite Disney movie, though. That was Aladdin. :3

    Mirrors = </3 I don't like them because I have bad skin at the moment and it seems like every time I look in the mirror I find a new spot. XD Generally, though, I'm pretty indifferent about mirrors?

    I've personally never broken a mirror, but my sister managed to break 3 in the space of a week about 2 years ago. 19 more years of bad luck for her, I guess. X3

When I was in the parking lot,
On the way to the mall,
This girl was looking into this shard of a mirror.
It was like really big,
But had jagged edges,
Like it was a piece of the whole thing.
She was doing makeup,
And then she dropped it,
And it shattered on the ground.
She just stared.
And kicked the pieces to the side.
x.x
Thats what you get for carrying around a shard of a mirror.
But thats stupid to just kick it aside.

XD
Back on topic,
Nope.
Not superstitious.
:]
Loved Snow White.
Mirrors </3

Lol. xD I have a story thats related to mirrors.
Once I took the frame off a mirror I had because I wanted to try and make something with it but it didn't work so I just set it aside. Then I took it out later to fix my hair and well..It was a little bendable so I kept bending it cause it made you look funny and wasn't even thinking about it and well...the mirror broke right in front of my face..o_o..I was so thankful it didn't get in my eye, it only cut my hand..^^;

I'm not superstitiuous though but that is kinda freaky..o.o..

Yes, I do believe that breaking
a Mirror means bad luck but, I think
that the mirror really didn't wanted
your friend near it for some odd reason. o.O;;

I wouldn't say I'm supertitious... Or I am, in my own way.
Not on the popular superstitions but on ones I've made up with years of ... bad experiences ? x'D

I broke a mirror once ... O _o

That's odd. xD;
i made up my own superstitions when i was younger, and now they have become habits. In the mall around here, for example, for me it's bad luck if you step on the darkest-colour tile. xD And, if you fall, it's bad luck if you fall on your elbow.

I'm not superstitious, but I do find it creepy that the mirror happened to break. o.o

Meh, I dislike mirrors because when I look at it, I see myself, and well, I just don't like how my face looks, I either feel that my eyes are too small, my nose too big, or my face shape to be just terrible. :/

I liked Snow White, but it's not my favorite.

That better be a coincidence or I'm calling Ghost Busters >>'

Well, nothing really superstitious happens to me, usually when it does though, it turns into good luck or some crap like that ^^'

Snow White seemed kinda of a fool, at least in this cartoon that I saw her in.

That is strange, I'm not superstitious but that is scary. If a mirror breaks, I clean it up and move on.

Nope I'm not superstitious not at all, your friends arms were probably just getting tired of holding it, or her hands got sweaty, or she had a random violent muscle twitch xD lol...
Superstitions kind of annoy me actually, they're just...unrealistic, not to offend anyone, but its kinda rubbish.
Snow White is alright, not my favourite disney princess, but they're all sweet ^^

i'm not superstitious, but that would suck. if it's a small mirror i wouldn't care, but if it's a big decorative mirror like the ones i have in the rooms of my house, i would be upset. not because i'm superstitious, but i pride myself on finding unique mirrors, and that would mean i would have to replace a mirror i really enjoy. i may not be able to find the exact same style or design again and it would probably expensive too.

Nah... I think that stuff is bulls**t. It's amusing when you find out where they originate from, though.
As for your friend chanting and then breaking the mirror... It made me lawl. Not to insult your friend, but it reminds me of cartoons when someone über ugly (or someone who thinks they are über ugly) looks at a mirror and the mirror is broken by itself.

  • Wow. O_o I'd be freaked out. I'm sort of superstitious. *laughs* Not extremely, but I get wary of the unknown.

    This room came with a tall mirror that whoever lived here before left. It was only attached by those sticky pads to the walls. Every time I looked at it, I was kind of freaked it would fall and shatter. So I stuffed a chair beside it. Good thing because one day I kept fretting over it and left the room...only to return hours later to find that it had fallen straight down and broken. >_<;

Yea, I'm pretty supersticious. :(
I think I got it from my dad's side of the family, cause they are too. So yea, I think I might have freaked out if that happened to me.

And I like mirrors. If we didn't have them, we'd never know when we looked ugly.

I'm a bit superstitious. I always knock on wood so I don't jinx anything.
I only watched Snow White once or twice. >o>
I kinda like mirrors. I have two full length ones in my room that are the sliding doors on my closet. O:
